GOING FISHING. A Stop motion Animation by Guldies

  • 2500 still pictures (4530 taken) played in 18 FPS.
Made in my bedroom on my desk. Shot with a Canon EOS 600D. Animated in Dragonframe, edited in Photoshop and Sony Vegas. Sound effects recorded with a Blue Yeti - a few downloaded from freesound(dot)org.
After months of hard work GOING FISHING is finally here. I have never worked so hard. The animation is filled to the brim with new stuff I've never tried before. I animated with branches and leaves, paper, clay, fabric, fishing lures, forks and stones and moss and EVERYTHING I could think of.
I really really hope you enjoy this one as much as I do.
    I love you so much.
Freesound users I would like to thank:
    jittels - wood chopping
kyster - spring in my garden
speedygonzo - tree stump breaks and falls
    unclesigmund - watering can
kvgarlic - bacon frying winter early 2013
    zmb94 - campfire-1

Your attention to details and studying real life movement has totally paid off. You even had the peas roll around as they do when disturbed, lol. Bloody wonderful work.

finally a stop motion movie where the creator undestands weight and physics or whatever. Ever since that grenade guacamole video came out there has been so many copies that dont understand that in order for it to look smooth you need to have exaggerated movements or else it looks robotic. This is animation after all.

Wonderful and gorgeous animation! I wish people would stop showing the cutting down of healthy trees. Naturalists and people who work the land scavenge dead timber, or fallen trees. You created such a gorgeous tree that I actually felt disheartened when it was cut down--a true testament to your artistry!
