My critiques: 2:54 : I understand you're quick and efficient but not looking down on the unsuspecting gathering removes a great deal of satisfaction to be gained from feeling like a stealthy professional. 3:46 : neutralising a second guard in the same manner as you did the first one is pedestrian. 3:53 : making noise when dropping (though the game allows it) is an immersion-breaker. 5:17 : leaving the SSI on is too an immersion-breaker. Anyway, AC III has changed from my once favourite game to now my least pleasant. Especially, especially the ‘remastered’ failure they released. This game is dead to me and it resembles a fossil in my eyes but you championing it is admirable; nice gameplay. (y)
Very fair criticism across the board. Appreciate the honesty! As for AC3, the remaster is honestly one of the worst things Ubi has ever released. The amount of times I wished AC3 had that little bit extra time in the oven and then they release this. With little to no change to the games most glaring issue, AI.
When the original launched the stealth was kinda broken. They eventually patched it but the stealth was still hard because it had different mechanics than Ezio games. Some people didn't like the parkour because it was a little automated. Some didn't like the combat because it was easy apparently. The main thing they hated was Connor though. AC3 is still pretty good today imo.
I'd still argue the stealth is still fairly broken, in the remaster and original. There are workarounds but it's still not ideal. Guards hearing kills they shouldn't, viewcones being all over the place and telepathy being a thing in 1700s. The parkour is a step down but not as bad as people make out at times. Combat was easy but that was a weird complaint given the series never had difficult combat. At least AC3 had options in combat and felt good to use. I get the Connor complaints but he's one of my favourite protagonists so I never was on board for that one. Another Co plaint people had were the cities and frontier not being fun compared to AC2, which I never understood. They're different for sure but aesthetically and gameplay wise they offered something different.
@@StratTV Yeah it is still fairly broken but in the remaster it is a lot better and it can be smooth if nothing bad happens. And I just realized that AC3 has this weird mechanic where if soldiers are in a formation of 4 or more shooting them with a bow will get you instant detected but if you break their formation and kill, you don't get detected. I don't know why it is but it is very odd. The stealth is not as bad as people say and it is possible to have fun with it if you know the limitations and boundaries of the system imo ( eventhough it is hard to figure out those boundaries )
This is one of the Peg Leg side missions you get near the mid point of the game. You get them from the rambling guy by the ship dock in the homestead :)
Fantastic ! I loved the peg leg missions !
Classic Ubi mission: normal stealth, then some big explosions, then a run through fire section
In this mission specially AC3 looks like a next gen game. The oranges in the Remaster are really nice
It's honestly blew me away booting it up for the recording. Looks incredible!

Connor breaks through the window and the guard didn't listen HAHAHAHA
PS: thank u for making AC 3 stealth gameplay
Any time!😀
Now That’s what AC is about. Perfect Stealth!
Ac3 is so different from ac revelations. There was a lot of fun stuff to do. Were the story and Connor himself the only things that people hated?

Very much agreed. I haven't put as much time into the remaster as I would like but I know of a number of issues persist.
AC3 is super boring compared to revelations
How did u get this mission
