Petra, I have no idea who you are, but I am so glad to see that my initial reactions were exactly the same as yours. Zurcaroh seems like combination of an old circus acrobatic act and a modern, far above average, dance group. They are probably the best most entertaining group that I have seen.
This performance is absolutely stunning. Almost unbelievable. They are so good! And your enthusiasm and emotional response was perfect, Petra. It is no wonder that you are the "Queen of Reactors". I saw this today and was going to suggest it to you, but you already had your reaction posted. I totally agree with your comments. And it never entered my mind that you were over-reacting. You were just expressing the excitement you felt from watching this incredible performance. JerryinDFW may be right that large groups don't win talent shows, but I can't help but wonder if I have seen my favorite already for 2018. It's early still, but all I can say is WOW!
The music fits well for what they did. When they lift the kids like they do, it definitely can't be easy for the kids to remain so well in form (basically stiff). It's awesome how they are able to do the slow motion effect during a live show.
Then explain why they tweet live as the show progresses. Explain why they upload videos after each act has finished and the judges state their comments and vote. They don't sit there watching the show just to do these things. Even if they did... they don't edit their videos. They upload them as they aired on TV. The most they do is cut off the end where the judges state their comments and vote. Such features as slow motion are indeed used during live aired shows. It's also obvious due to the fact that the visual is switched to slow motion for a short length yet the crowd screaming doesn't slow but the sound of the screaming is slightly distorted.
OMG!!!! I am speechless. And if anyone says you are over reacting.... NOOOO!!!! They are not reacting enough. That was sooooooooo insane. I was about to ask if AGT had a golden buzzer, cause that was so over the top it deserved it. Just O....M.....G!!!
I keep watching the original video of this on the agt TH-cam page over and over. I still cant believe they did half the stuff they did in that routine. I'm not one who usually is into gymnastics routines but this is amazing. I cant wait to see their next performance.
I've never been a huge fan of dance groups on AGT, but this one really earned my respect last night on the show. Definitely deserving of a golden buzzer! Also, another great reaction by you Petra! Your videos are always fun to watch. I would be curious to see what you thought about Riana Riani (the horror magician from last night). From what I understand, she already won Asia's Got Talent 2017.

I'm irritated by some people I saw on social media downplaying how good this was, probably partly because they don't understand how hard the tricks were (like you pointed out about the strength needed). I do think they can win it all too. I'd rank them right behind Shin Lim, who was just as stunning if not a bit more.

Wonderful reaction as always! Enthusiasm is a good thing, not a flaw. People who say you overreact have no souls. They should go into a career in chartered accountancy or window washing. I wonder, though, if part of your great responses to outstanding performances stems from your own experience as an actor. As a lighting director and occasional actor since 1970I know that a lot of my appreciation rises from knowing in great detail all the work and feelings that come with building a show from first audition to closing night. I really love you. I'd probably ask you out on a date ... if I were 40 years younger, thinner, better looking, healthier, and lived in Sweden.

Okay... Zurcaroh made an inspirational short film called The Refuge That You really should react to now. It shows a lot of their dance moves from this video but also some more moves that were not in this one. It also tells and emotional story from the point of view of a young girl growing up in a dysfunctional home and what an impact Dance can have on a person and their emotions. Look for "ZURCAROH - Inspirational Video by Peterson da Cruz & Zurcaroh" That's the exact name of the video on Zurcarohs channel. Please react to it too petra. It's longer than a music video but You've had longer reactions before so I'm sure it won't seem too long. It's just over 10 minutes.
Petra your reaction is almost as good as Shin Lim's magic act. When the cards changed from blue to red Your reaction was hilarious After I thought you where going to jump out of my computer monitor and smash it.
Very good and unique routine to be sure. Unfortunately, those huge groups never win. At least not yet on AGT. They generally get eliminated by the semis. Before you start trolling me, look it up. Three ventriloquist acts have won, a magician, a dog act, one dancer, and six singers, one of which was Jazz and one Opera style. Of the remaining four only one is really doing well for herself and is making a career out of the opportunity, and five of the six singers names will get you a "Who?" And note I'm talking about the WINNERS - *_not the runners up_*. Is ZURCAROH good enough to break the pattern? Maybe - if they can keep it that exciting for three more shows. Still VERY early in the season. They'll need more than the one real innovation they've shown.
Yeah, the camera crew usually screws the things for these kinds of groups. They don't know how to capture these things right. Most of the time they end up following the build up for the next big thing and it ends up looking very boring for the folk in tv because they miss all the other stuff that is done to keep things interesting for the folk who is watching. Wrong camera angels can really kill these kinds of acts no matter how good they are.
Virpukka Agreed. Also most of the moves they used were from an inspirational video they posted last year on yt. Makes me wonder what else they might have left in the tank. TBH to me it's a hybrid dance/acrobatic/circus act, and we've seen some fantastic ones on AGT fail on the way to the finals. I wish them luck but honestly am not optimistic about their chances of winning.
There have been large groups in the final end on the night they announce the winner. The reason the small groups, or even individuals, win is because of the votes. More people like what they do than what the large groups do. Larger groups mean too much to see and thus possibly missing something. It's a live show, thus the editing of the video is minimal. The editor cut some out from the beginning before the group started doing anything and some at the end was cut as well. At the beginning one/two (if not more) of the people in the group started minimally crying, but it cleared up quickly. The judges always state their comments after each act, or at least one or two of them do, but in this video there's no commenting. It cuts straight to Simon saying "ok let's vote." Then Tyra interrupts, goes over and hits the golden buzzer (which shouldn't be allowed, Nick Canon never did when he had the same job).
Well Nick HAS used the Golden Buzzer in the past at least once that I know of. And I watched the entire performance including the judges comments. They all said "Wow!" Meh. But none pushed the buzzer because they know huge groups inevitably get eliminated, and they want to pick the winner. Tyra doesn't understand that yet. I watched everything that group had online, and what we saw was last years routine.They used all their innovations up and unless they've been very creative, there's not going to be too much new. Only so many ways you than throw kids around. They lost when they competed on the French version of "Got Talent" and they'll be lucky to get past the quarter finals, and I predict they might even need a save then. They were impressive for what it was. Once. They're not going to win. Not even going to be in the finals. Not hating. Just reality. They'll get some good publicity out of it, but too many members to be commercially pr professionally viable. Cest la Vie.

Very good and unique routine to be sure. Unfortunately, those huge groups never win. At least not yet on AGT. They generally get eliminated by the semis. Before you start trolling me, look it up. Three ventriloquist acts have won, a magician, a dog act, one dancer, and six singers, one of which was Jazz and one Opera style. Of the remaining four only one is really doing well for herself and is making a career out of the opportunity, and five of the six singers names will get you a "Who?" And note I'm talking about the WINNERS - *_not the runners up_*. Is ZURCAROH good enough to break the pattern? Maybe - if they can keep it that exciting for three more shows. Still VERY early in the season. They'll need more than the one real innovation they've shown.
Yeah, the camera crew usually screws the things for these kinds of groups. They don't know how to capture these things right. Most of the time they end up following the build up for the next big thing and it ends up looking very boring for the folk in tv because they miss all the other stuff that is done to keep things interesting for the folk who is watching. Wrong camera angels can really kill these kinds of acts no matter how good they are.
Virpukka Agreed. Also most of the moves they used were from an inspirational video they posted last year on yt. Makes me wonder what else they might have left in the tank. TBH to me it's a hybrid dance/acrobatic/circus act, and we've seen some fantastic ones on AGT fail on the way to the finals. I wish them luck but honestly am not optimistic about their chances of winning.

There have been large groups in the final end on the night they announce the winner. The reason the small groups, or even individuals, win is because of the votes. More people like what they do than what the large groups do. Larger groups mean too much to see and thus possibly missing something. It's a live show, thus the editing of the video is minimal. The editor cut some out from the beginning before the group started doing anything and some at the end was cut as well. At the beginning one/two (if not more) of the people in the group started minimally crying, but it cleared up quickly. The judges always state their comments after each act, or at least one or two of them do, but in this video there's no commenting. It cuts straight to Simon saying "ok let's vote." Then Tyra interrupts, goes over and hits the golden buzzer (which shouldn't be allowed, Nick Canon never did when he had the same job).
Well Nick HAS used the Golden Buzzer in the past at least once that I know of. And I watched the entire performance including the judges comments. They all said "Wow!" Meh. But none pushed the buzzer because they know huge groups inevitably get eliminated, and they want to pick the winner. Tyra doesn't understand that yet. I watched everything that group had online, and what we saw was last years routine.They used all their innovations up and unless they've been very creative, there's not going to be too much new. Only so many ways you than throw kids around. They lost when they competed on the French version of "Got Talent" and they'll be lucky to get past the quarter finals, and I predict they might even need a save then. They were impressive for what it was. Once. They're not going to win. Not even going to be in the finals. Not hating. Just reality. They'll get some good publicity out of it, but too many members to be commercially pr professionally viable. Cest la Vie.

This act won France's got talent. Unfortunately Psyco, Simon's company, cycles acts. Many over the years appear on many of them. I love talent acts and I will see something that in three years will appear on AMG. The world has talent America has stories, but we love you. J.
