Hey, just to give a little feedback I am a 35 year old male, married with a 33 year old wife, I have listened to all episodes of the new pod, both on Spotify while walking and doubling back on TH-cam while cooking dinner, I listened to this type of pod the most such as "retirement" category or morning stars the long view ect. My feedback would be don't exclude the young people by always mentioning 45+ and so on as you do, I and many of my inner circle have been most interested in retirement planning within the financial space since age 24. Great show so far.
Hi Drew, love your work. I would like to hear your views on model portfolios for retirement that balance income and growth whilst managing downside risk
Thanks Drew and Owen. Great episode. I was bit uncertain however regarding your explanation of cognitive dissonance. What you described seemed no different to anchoring bias - persisting with unhelpful financial strategies based on past negative experiences or dysfunctional beliefs. If my memory serves me correct, cognitive dissonance describes changing (or projecting) attitudes/beliefs to match your behaviour. Two sides of the same coin really.
I have in my super fund a financial adviser who came with the fund,at the moment iam paying him 5000dollars and speak to him or I should say hear from him once a year, told how well it’s going. So at present looking at another super fund, just what and how to go about it safely,

Mate what are you saying? That comment makes no sense.
Spell it out carefully and use a full stop here and there, please.
