Wow that ship looks amazing! So good to see you guys enjoyed the trip. I am planning on going on the Ovation of the seas, lets hope the crowd is the same. Contrary to popular opinion I LOVE big crowds. Makes for a great party atmosphere.
Greetings Lolo2oopz! Thanks so much for your comment. Thanks for seeing the "glass half full rather than half empty." While many have focused on the crowed lido deck and comment derogatively, they fail to see the fun and excitement one could have on cruises such as this. After all, you would want to go on a cruise to have fun and enjoy the company of like-minded people. I've never been on the Ovation of the Seas but I've watched many of its review videos on TH-cam. I'm sure you'll find an amazing and exciting crowd that will make your cruise memorable. I hope you post your cruise experience on the Ovation. I've never cruised the Pacific Northwest, but I have it in my bucket list. Who knows, we may find ourselves cruising on the Ovation one of these days. Thanks again for your comment and I hope you'll find an exciting and fun crowd on your cruise. Happy Cruising!!!
Thank you for sharing this video with us - really enjoyed the tour of the ship! We will have to wait until next May when Anthem comes here to Southampton for Summer cruising from UK - cannot wait for our cruise on her.
Greetings Alan Thornton! Thanks for taking the time to post your comment. I am glad you enjoyed the video. It is a beautiful ship! It has a couple of unique venues, such as the "Two70 Degree" room on Deck 5 Aft. It is a $37 Million room, which is one of three in the world and the only one in the Western Hemisphere. I'm sure you'll love it! Happy Cruising and thanks again for your comment.

Oh boy, I love watching stormy weather cruise ship videos! I was hoping we were going to get to see subsequent days as the storm progressed. It's okay, though, I loved watching yours. That is one huge ship. 💗💗💗
Hi Lori! Thanks for viewing our video and your comment. Cruising is so much fun! Have you cruised before? If not, I think you would love it! We've gone on about 15 cruises and this was the roughest seas we have encountered. In other words, as you saw in the video, it wasn't that bad. It was actually a bit exciting!!!
Hi Sidney! Greetings from Virginia, USA. I hope you are doing well. Thanks so much for commenting on my video. I am glad you liked it! It was fun making it and even more fun being on the cruise. I love cruising! I would love to some day being able to cruise from and around Australia. I've been on many cruises but they have all been to the Caribean. What type of cruising have you done? What would you recommend if cruising from Australia? I've been to Sydney and Melbourne, but spent most of my time while in Australia in Andamooka. I love your country. I think it's beautiful! Have an awesome day Sidney and I hope you start cruising again. Bye bye and happy cruising!
Very poetic. Well said!. Thanks for your comment. While some have complained that this wasn't a true storm, it was indeed exciting to experience the sea in one of her moods. Good video 👍 I’m from northern Canada, never ever thought I’d go on a cruise until one day our son convinced us to book the symphony of the seas western Caribbean. It was actually very amazing and would recommend to anyone
Greetings Ed! Thank you for your comment. We love cruising! We've never been on the Symphony of the Seas, but we've heard it's a great ship! We can't wait to get back to cruising again. We used to cruise every year, but the pandemia sure changed our world. We'll be happy when the new normal (whatever it'll be) becomes stable, and we can safely cruise again. Thanks again for your comment and stay warm!
You are not alone on this, I think this is why some cruise lines have two separate areas for passengers who are willing to pay to be away from most of the crowd. On the Norwegian Cruise Line they call it "The Heaven." One must have an access card to enter these areas, which include cabins, pools, eating establishments, etc... Carnival Cruise Line has an area called, "Serenity." This area is accessible only to adults, no children...
@mullah amin That's great Mullah Amin! I have been on 15 with one coming up this August. I love them all! Each one was unique in its own way. While I was a bit disappointed with the ship layout on my last cruise, I still loved the itinerary and had a great time. I love travelling and this is the cheapest and most convenient way to visit multiple places and meet great people. A day at sea on any cruise is better than a day at work... any day... any time...
@@JoseHernandezOlivares That sounds pretty good Jose. Private areas on the ship where you can go to reclaim your peace is a good idea. Some people thrive on being in crowds and wouldn't go to a retreat even if it was free. But if you can afford it, it's important to calm your mind and heart when you need to.
Thanks for sharing, great coverage of the ship, hope you had a great cruise. In 6 weeks, we’re off on our cruise through the Panama Canal, we can’t wait
Hey Phil! That's awesome! I used to live in Panama and have transited the canal many times, but never on a cruise ship. We did cruise to Panama on the Carnival Freedom but didn't transit the canal at that time. What's your itinerary like? Are you returning to the port of departure or one way to the West coast? We are looking to transiting the canal next Summer. Still looking.... Happy Cruising!!!! I'm sure you'll have a blast!
Jose Hernandez Olivares Hi Jose, we cruise Holland America, We leave Ft Lauderdale Nov 20th, then Arrive SAN Diego Dec 6th, it’s always been a trip we’ve always wanted to do. Holland Line, the ships are smaller, as every cruise ship the staff are always impeccable,
@@philhardy6470 That sounds fantastic! We've never cruised Holland Line, only Carnival, Norwegian, and Royal Caribbean. We have to check them out. I hope you have an awesome time at sea and great weather all the way. Happy Cruising!!!! Thanks for sharing...
Just too many people for my style. Hordes of people detract from the kind of getaway I would want. I am not antisocial, just don't care for huge crowds on my vacation...
Must have been using almost all the berths, as some staterooms have three or more. Then again it was summer out of NJ/NY so all the kids are off school. This ship does look nice but is too loud and crowded for my taste, only to mention it’s made constant negative headlines making me believe it’s cursed.
Hey Arthur, Greetings! I felt the same way for many many years until a coworker talked me into going on one. That was 15 cruises ago! It's not as bad as it looks. Many cruise lines have adult only areas; for instance, on the Carnival Cruise Line, the area is called, "Serenity." On the Norweigan, the area is called, "The Haven." On the Haven, they do admit children but it is a restricted area so it is not as crowded as what you saw on the video. To me, the fun part is going to the comedy shows and getting off the ship at the various ports of call. I find cruising to be the cheapest way to vacation. Nowadays, there are very few places where you can spend a vacation with most everything included such as transportation, food, entertainment, and a nice room with a dedicated steward to clean up the room and make your bed a couple of times a day, all for an average of only $70-$100 per day. You should try it at least once! Like me, you may end up liking it. Take care, Arthur! Thanks for your comment
The biggest ship I sailed was the Queen Mary 2,we had about 2900 people on board, I never felt crowded in. This ship,Anthem of the Seas,I wouldn't waste my money. Too big,too many people A cruise BTW is a great vacation,I love them. The best cruise is a 7 day's to Bermud
It's not that bad. I stayed away from the pools (not a chlorine fan) but the rest of the ship (depending on which you go on) is huge and plenty of separation. I loved it so much.
As others have said, you should try at least one. If you're here looking seems like maybe a little interest? I've only been on 4 cruises (3 to Alaska and 1 Caribbean) and cant speak highly enough about them. While the larger ships hold more people they also are "larger" so things dont feel crowded if you do them right. If you want to lay around a big public pool then yes they can be crowded. Last cruise we went on was on RC Liberty of the Seas and I splurged and got us an owners suite. The kids had a blast in the kids rooms and I mostly read on my beautiful balcony with large loungers like at the pool! With Alaska I cant recommend enuf and why we've done so many. It's an amazing way to see the breathtaking beauty of the state!
Great video ! But like a lot of these other comments I have seen something I'v never seen about a cruise . I'ts more crowded than I ever thought it would be . I live in a rural area and always thought about a cruise in the winter but I couldn't believe the crowd !! Again thanks for the video , very interesting !!
Thanks Nomad! I appreciate your feedback and cordial comment. I always make my videos with family and friends in mind and want to include as much as possible. I always try to keep them between 10-15 minutes but sometimes I go overboard. I am still learning! I realize that for anyone else, the videos may be a bit too long and perhaps that's why I get some pretty nasty comments but, it's OK. I appreciate cordial comments and positive criticism and just ignore the nasty ones. Thanks again for your comment and happy surfing!
Thanks for your comment Elwood Blues! Indeed, the storm added a lot of excitement to the cruise! Have you cruised before? If you haven't, I think you would love it. I think it is a fantastic way to vacation...
On my cruise 80-120 mph winds. They emptied the pools and put nets over them also plexiglass around the pool decks. Best sleep ever. Norwegian cruise line.
On the only cruise I have taken, we ran into Hurricane Patricia’s wake. We got a few 22-25 foot swells. I struggled at first, but got used to it. Next time, I’ll be sure to book a midship cabin instead of the bow or stern.
This is the BEST done video EVER! You seem to care about the things I care about in a video, LOL LIKE very much. What a beautiful ship! 14:30 says it all! And LOVELY as well!
I was on that exact ship in April of 2018 and it was my first and LAST cruise!!!! Way too many people, food was gross. I was sick in the bathroom for 6 of the 7 days. I couldn’t wait to be back on land.
Greetings David! I am with you. I have always wanted to (and still do) be in the middle of a heavy storm with rough seas. It has to be a blast! On this cruise, we were only riding the tail end of Hurricane Chris. It wasn't really that bad but it's been the best so far (in terms of rough seas and excitement). Thanks for your comment and happy cruising!
@@mairuwuki5150 I went on a cruise when I was 22 and I hated it. It's not age. They just really suck. If I'm taking a holiday I want to spend my time in museums off season. If I want to enjoy the sun, I go up north in Canada to a cottage with private lake access and miles away from a neighbour. That's soooo much better. Avoid other tourists.
my first cruise was aboard Holland America, we did Alaska inside passage. the second nite out we left the inside passage to the open ocean. rough ocean with a lot of rocking and rolling. we had an inside cabin towards the bow. sleeping was and adventure. every time the bow of the ship went up, I was pressed into my bed. and when the bow went back down, it felt like I was floating. pretty cool.
Greetings Polycarp Hunter! I've never done an Alaskan cruise. It's in my bucket list and so far, I haven't succeeded in convincing my wife in taking one. "It would be too cold," she says. I hear they are beautiful! Your experience on the Holland America sounds exciting! I do hear that if one wants to experience the most motion, a stateroom located towards the bow and in the lower decks would be the best place to be. It sounds like it would be lots of fun! Thanks for your comment and happy cruising!
Jose, you take great videos. You hold the camera right and point it at things I'd want to see. You don't add horrible music, perfect! Your lady is cute too!
Greetings Starbright! Thanks for your comment. I don't know, I think you would be calm and would be enjoying the moment like everybody else. Believe me, the excitement you see in everybody's faces is very contagious.
I don't like crowds. I went on the carnival elation last April. Its a small ship. It wasn't crowded. I don't even like to go to wal_mart to many people
As long as you guys who filmed this enjoyed your cruise that’s the main thing. I hope you two can get away on another cruise when all this terrible Virus has gone away. God bless
Thanks, Jacqueline! Thanks for your comment. We love cruising! We are indeed planning on cruising again once it is safe to travel. Have a beautiful day and thanks for your comment. Stay safe and blessings to you too.
I went on a cruise once. I was on top of the bridge 24/7. When somebody asked me what I was doing I said " looking out for icebergs". I was told not to come back. :(
Thanks for sharing this. This is closer to a storm at sea than I want to be, but it was interesting to see from the convenience of home. By the way, you both looked lovely! Glad you had a good time. I did take a cruise a few years ago, but I think your ship looked much more crowded.
Hi Diane! Thanks for the compliment! The sea outside looked much rougher and stirred-up than what it felt on board. It got a little rougher later that evening. We were on the 11th deck. I was on our balcony enjoying the excitement when the splash of one of the waves got me wet. That's when my wife pulled me in and didn't let me go back out again. It was fun! One of the advantages of large ships is that they are designed with great stabilizing systems. It feels very calm and stable inside even though is rough outside.
@@warnerbeachful twenty five years ago when the ships were only 75 thousand ton, the dining room offed Silver Service and you tipped your Steward personally it was lovely and sadate now all that and more has gone, it is as you say "Butlins on the Sea", hence we no longer cruise.
LOL at 1:15 you turned the camera toward yourselves and I instantly thought to myself... Hmm... I’ve seen these two on a ship before, so I started to think about the recent cruises I’ve been on. A couple of seconds later I realized I’d seen another of your videos. Senior citizenship is fun. You meet people you don’t know all the time. Some more than once.
Greetings c5back9! You know, I always look for other TH-cam videos posted about the same cruise just to see if I recognize any of the folks I see on my videos. Hello EasyAzPie! Yes! we did have lots of fun. We love cruising! There are so many fun activities and interesting things to do at the different ports of call. Thanks for your comment!
Sam Wilkinson I hated my cruise on Royal Carribean, it was this crowded too. Never a quiet moment, announcements almost nonstop with nonsense all the time. Never again.
Same here I never been on a cruise and I do not think I will ever get on one. If i do its going to be in my own YATCH not a highly trampled ship. Plus I will make sure I ride out in good weather not Hurricane weather man.
@@sbfhawk4343 Yes I concur, you would probably hate it which is a shame because they have really spoilt the cruising industry for many. The days of a peaceful exploration cruse for say 1200 passengers on a 46,000 ton ship are long gone. Now it's get them on the ship, cruise slowly and extract their $ as much as possible. It's very sad..... (Cruise ambassador for 50 years). All those people and constant noise would freak me out now!
Greetings Bob! I wholeheartedly agree with you. In 15 cruises and many ports of call, I like Labadee the best! I was very impressed with the cleanliness, the spaciousness, and the multiple amenities available. I particularly loved the zip-line. It was awesome! Thanks so much for your comment...
Hi Alva! Greetings! Your first cruise. Wow... That sounds so exciting! I am sure you'll love it and it won't be the last, of that I am sure. Cruising is awesome! Being in January, the likelihood of stormy weather is very small. I am also going on a cruise with my family on January 26, out of Baltimore, on the Carnival Pride. How about you? What's your itinerary like? The Caribbean? What cruise line? Sorry for so many questions. I just love cruising!!! Congratulations on your first cruise Alva. Happy cruising!!!!!
Hi Sissy B!!! I love your name! Our eldest daughter's name is Cissy, with a "C" 😊. Thanks for your nice comment. It was a fun cruise and a great itinerary. While we had been to some of the ports, we had never been to Bermuda nor Labadee in Haiti. We loved it!
I can't, for the life of me, fathom the attraction of spending a vacation on one of these noisy, crowded, floating cities. I guess I could tolerate it if I were being well paid to be there. But, these people pay good money for this? No way!
I'm sure some people would hate going to places you like going to and say the same thing. It's personal choice. Also have you heard the saying don't knock it until you've tried it.
Greetings Faye Cox! Thanks for your comment. Thanks! I appreciate it. I love cruising! It is awesome! I hope you can indeed experience going on one of them. In my opinion, it is the best way to vacation. Never mind the negative comments you may read on TH-cam about cruising. While I agree that at the beginning of this video it does look crowded, it actually wasn't. This particular ship is one of the largest at sea and since this was one of the first days at sea, most everyone was on the top decks enjoying the sun, the music, and all the entertainment, which was primarily geared towards kids and families. The remaining of the cruise was more balanced, with people spread out throughout the ship. If you look at the other videos from this cruise, you'll see that it was not as crowded as it appeared in this video. I'm sure you'll love cruising! You won't have to worry about cleaning, booking hotels, renting cars, and buying food as you must on regular travel vacations. The entertainment is free, with live music, discotheques, piano bars, etc., while sightseeing awesome places. When you go cruising, take lots of pictures and videos! You'll love watching them over and over again and smiling about the great time you had at sea. Thanks again for your comment and Happy Cruising!!!!
I'm go8ng on z cru8se in October and hoping we get to experience a st9rm. Maybe not a massive super dangerous storm, but enough to get the big ship moving a little.
Greetings Gregory! Congratulations on your cruise and I hope you have the time of your life. What I know, based on my own experience, is that riding the tail end of a hurricane or, as you said, maybe not a massive super dangerous storm, will add sooooo much more excitement to your overall cruising experience than will make your vacation even more memorable and exhilarating. Experiences like this are what will separate your various cruises and what will have you remembering this particular one for years to come. Thanks for your post, good luck on your cruise, and may your wishes come true!
Only been on one cruise and we ,too, caught the tail end of a storm. Didn't seem as bad as this but me and wife snuck up to top of ship by smoke stacks and smoked a fat one. It was great.lol
Greetings Doesn't Matter! It is hard to explain but there is an element of excitement being there, like in our case as yours, at the tail end of a storm, and seeing the power of mother nature. It's exciting! One just have to experience it to understand what we mean. Thanks for your comment!
@@JoseHernandezOlivares Agreed. That was my first cruise. The excitement was pretty intense but only on the first day. Afterwards it was clear sailing. I used to chase storms as a hobby, 13 tornado's and 2 hurricanes. As you said, Mother Nature is amazingly powerful. I looked up your pic standing in front of the Shuttle. That's pretty amazing too, huh? I used to work for an airline in St. Louis when Shuttle came in in there. Pilot of AA 747 did a fly by at about 100 feet before landing. We were standing out on the ramp watching. Pretty awesome.
Greetings@@doesntmatter571Matter, I always wanted to chase storms, but I never did. I did use to watch TV shows documenting you guys. Amazing! About my picture, I was privileged to work nearly 20 years at the Kennedy Space Center in support of the Space Shuttle program. This picture was taken towards the end of the program prior to retiring the shuttles. It was taken after one of those flybys you mentioned. It was sad to see the end of an amazing era but likewise, it is even more exciting to stand at the dawn of an even greater era. It will be Awesome!
That deck had a terrible layout...how could anyone be comfortable with being a human sandwich with chairs after chairs after chairs... Never seen so many bodies in such close quarters. The first person view of this (is Fantastic 👏 quality) is making want to make sure i never go on a cruise this size.
Hi Wendy! I totally agree with you. It seems like most cruises spend the least amount of time on the best ports and vise-Versa. We love going to the water park in Atlantis, but it seems like once you are starting to get comfortable, it is time to head back to the ship. Thanks for watching the video and posting your comment. I hope you get to spend extra time at your favorite ports of call on your next cruise. Happy Cruising!!!
If been on quite a few cruises I do hate the noisy end of the ship but the crew can always find a nice quiet place where you can drink a rum punch in peace, thank God for stabilisers ☺
Few years ago, while catching a flight back to Montana, I was around a bunch of couples that had just gotten off a cruise, the wives were raving about how nice it was and fun, then the wives walked away, the husbands all sitting there silent. I asked them what they thought of it.....everyone of them hated it, said they'd have rather gone camping.
Thanks Bobbie! It was indeed very crowded. It appears even more so on beautiful sunny days at sea, where everyone comes to the upper decks to sunbathe. That's one of the nice things about having a balcony where you can still enjoy the nice view, the breeze, and still have privacy and relax. Thanks for your comment!
Thank you for posting this lovely video. I started off looking for videos of Giant Waves, ended up here, now you have inspired my partner and I to go on a cruise next year :)
That's awesome Candee! Congratulations! I'm sure you'll love cruising. They are so much fun! There is so much to do onboard and of course, at each port of call. It is indeed one of the least expensive ways to vacation. You don't have to worry about transportation, parking, food, hotel, or entertainment as all is provided (except for alcoholic beverages), all for an average of $75 per night. We've cruised for as low as $45/night. Don't worry about some of the negative comments about how crowded it is. There are lots of places onboard that are not so crowded and much quieter, such as for adults only, no children, etc. if it's what you prefer. Thanks for watching and I hope you have a fantastic time on your first cruise.
@@JoseHernandezOlivares we've been watching all of the videos you posted about this vacation. Got off Ovation yesterday. It costs $49 each to go up in the North Star. We didn’t go up. I would not sail on one of these big ships again. Too many people!

@@JoseHernandezOlivares yes I did....there is a video of me on my channel of my boyfriend and i both doing it. It was alot of fun!!! Highly recommended it!!!
When I was on the Oasis it didn't seem nearly as crowded as this ship I think they made the walkways too narrow. On the anthem ..we had a lot more room on the Oasis then the anthem of the Seas. But I'm still extremely impressed the way the anthem of the Seas handle a Hurricane most ships could not do that so although I feel the captain used bad judgment to put the people at risk like that you must still have a lot of Captain skills to be able to keep such a large vessel from losing control but I bet that Royal Caribbean never does that again
Greetings James Conway! I agree with you; I have also sailed on the Allure of the Seas and, while it literally sails with over 7,000 people (including the crew), it didn't seem as crowded as the Anthem. I was just not pleased with the layout at all, it was very disappointing. You are right, the walkways were toooooo narrow. There was no way one could freely use the jogging path unless you did it in the middle of the night. Even so, there were plenty of venues where, due to age restrictions, it wasn't as crowded as the open areas. Cruising is fun! It's all what you make of it, regardless of how crowded it might be. Thanks for your comment and happy cruising!
@@JoseHernandezOlivares thank you for your response I also totally agree with you I do love the food I broke Rypien they do know how to do it right when it comes to food
Sorry I meant to say I broke the recipes when I try to make them.. anyway overall Royal Caribbean's is a really good Cruise Line and I look forward to cruising with them again in the future
Have to admit - was expecting something a little more dramatic. Roughish seas and a stiff breeze, but not much more than that. Was on the Anthem in 2015. Lovely ship.
Funny thing the pool was imitating its environment. As the Pool moves up the waves crashing its simulating its surrounding I would of been tempted to get in to see what a mini Hurricane condition would be like swimming be really freaking rough.
Greetings SBF Hawk! I have other video clips where there was a guy in the pool but was asked to get out. It's not allowed to be in the pools during rough weather. The crew always covers the pools with some type of mesh to keep people from getting in. I'm telling you, it is so tempting to jump in and have a blast!
Watching this and thinking , my life isn't as boring as I thought .

Thank you, Jose for this very nice and informative video. I learned a lot about a cruise....
Really well done! Like a Disney resort video! It is amazing how steady the ship was!
The storm starts around 13:48
Thanks! :)
Thank you :)

Thanks broseph, man like TJcapo in the houzzzzzz
Right Jersey Joe See Friday the 13th does n t have to be bad

Yes, thank you.
The storm isn't scary, the amount of people stuck in one place is.
A day at sea on any cruise is better than a day at work... any day... any time...
@@JoseHernandezOlivares" ....no children....." Hallelujah!!
What’s scary is all those shoulder to shoulder filthy drunks vomiting and creating sewage. The price theses people pay just to get attention.
I am not antisocial, just don't care for huge crowds on my vacation...
yes agree not a relaxing time for me\
Same. I work hard to avoid crowds at this stage of my life. This is more a maylay than vaca. Less the people it looks like a good time though. LoL
StellarBlue1 .....but yet here you are commenting
agreed~ a nice cabin or seaside cottage with books, a kitty and wifi~ ahhhh :D oh and lots of hot tea.
Must have been using almost all the berths, as some staterooms have three or more. Then again it was summer out of NJ/NY so all the kids are off school. This ship does look nice but is too loud and crowded for my taste, only to mention it’s made constant negative headlines making me believe it’s cursed.
I've never been on a cruise. It looks like being locked in a shopping mall for christmas week. Don't think I'll ever go on one.
Too big,too many people
A cruise BTW is a great vacation,I love them.
I would highly recommend trying a Cunard cruise, smaller ship, superb service and a more elegant experience.
Great video ! But like a lot of these other comments I have seen something I'v never seen about a cruise . I'ts more crowded than I ever thought it would be . I live in a rural area and always thought about a cruise in the winter but I couldn't believe the crowd !! Again thanks for the video , very interesting !!
Great Video, really enjoyed it. Can't wait to sail again.
Same here Steven! I'd rather be sailing than working...
Well done video. Nothing was too hurried, and I enjoyed it all.
Nice video, makes it look like I was there. The storm adds to the setting. Thank you!
I still can’t wait to cruise again. 😬😎😎
Same here Island Knight. I'd rather be sailing than working.
On the only cruise I have taken, we ran into Hurricane Patricia’s wake. We got a few 22-25 foot swells. I struggled at first, but got used to it. Next time, I’ll be sure to book a midship cabin instead of the bow or stern.
How big is too big? How many passengers is too many? I prefer cruising on a smaller ship with fewer passengers and less crowded conditions.
Too expensive to do it that way. I just don't go on cruises. This looked awful and I've looked at what you're proposing and couldn't afford it.
Ah this video is a good substitute until we can cruise once more ! Thanks for sharing !
I LOVE storms at sea! Especially at night.
The best cruise I ever had was when we sailed through the edge of a hurricane! An absolute blast!! I live for storms on a ship!
Are you nuts?
I have never been on a cruise ship and watching this video I will never go on one ! Way too many people 😂
I agree. I require lots of space. Lots of quiet. And lots of rest. If I want a crowd, I will go to a concert and have my hearing further damaged.
Its so much fun. Not for you as you both in this comment section are old peeps..lol
@@mairuwuki5150 I’m old? How would you know how old I am ? At least I use my real picture 😂
Retired were typically the cruise ship consumer due to ease of travel and safety in numbers, back in the day.
my first cruise was aboard Holland America, we did Alaska inside passage. the second nite out we left the inside passage to the open ocean. rough ocean with a lot of rocking and rolling. we had an inside cabin towards the bow. sleeping was and adventure. every time the bow of the ship went up, I was pressed into my bed. and when the bow went back down, it felt like I was floating. pretty cool.
Thank you for showing us what your cruise was like. Looks like you had a great time.

What a great video !!! I don't think I would be that calm though ~~~~

There are more people on this floating apartment building than in my home town. No thanks, I’ll look for smaller ships. And ones that are seaworthy.
Not my cup of tea thiscruise, Interesting to watch
I don't like crowds. I went on the carnival elation last April. Its a small ship. It wasn't crowded. I don't even like to go to wal_mart to many people
a seaworthy ship---that's a lot to ask!!!
This video would put me off going on a cruise. It looks like a big giant floating noisy amusement park, nothing classy or elegant about it at all.
Every cruise line and ship has a different atmosphere and feel. Check out Oceania Cruises, they are nothing like this.
Look at the waves in that pool, let me in, its like being in the ocean while on the ocean
As long as you guys who filmed this enjoyed your cruise that’s the main thing. I hope you two can get away on another cruise when all this terrible Virus has gone away. God bless

Wow! I didn't know Butlins had a cruise ship.
You are absolutely correct. These big ships are really exactly like Butlins holiday camp at sea. Quite horrible.

It looks like there’s too many people on that boat,!!!!👁
Sam Wilkinson there is normally like 3000 people onboard of the ships like that size sometimes 4000+ on busy cruises
Hi sam
Sam Wilkinson
I hated my cruise on Royal Carribean, it was this crowded too.
My favorite day on Royal Carribean Cruise Lines is the Beach Day @ Labadee, Haiti . It is so beautiful there .

How much did this trip cost you in total? How much money did it cost? Anthem of the Seas
Great video!!!
I can't, for the life of me, fathom the attraction of spending a vacation on one of these noisy, crowded, floating cities. I guess I could tolerate it if I were being well paid to be there. But, these people pay good money for this? No way!
smart451cab Not even if they pay. No way
I'm sure some people would hate going to places you like going to and say the same thing. It's personal choice. Also have you heard the saying don't knock it until you've tried it.
So in others words you stay at home .
I ger you. Totally!

Looking forward to seeing your next cruise ship adventures. I subscribed!!
Sounds and look like a nightmare with so many people cramped into one sapce like the one in the pool (even before the storm)
Friday the 13th + 'Get Lucky' + Hurricane Chris = irony like no other.
Indeed Dan! Seems like the stars just lined-up for me. We love cruising! Thanks for your comment and have a great day!
Looks like a floating amusement park outside, probably floating casino inside. Both things available on land
Not the beaches
This looks like a floating can of sardines. Way too many people packed together in one place.
Do you really think they stay on the ship the whole time. Donna, they go to different port's, island , cities.
What i dont like is you dont get long enough at the ports of call.

Jeez, look at all those people and all that noise around the swimming pool.

What a lovely couple!
So crowded‼️. Great video‼️
Its just a floating giant hotel/amusement park until nature decides otherwise.

Hi Corri! Thanks for viewing our video and your comment. We love cruising! It is so much fun! You never know when you may run into some rough seas. We've also cruised many times and this was the roughest seas we have encountered. I hope your next cruise will be smooth and doesn't make you seasick. @@JoseHernandezOlivares yes I did....there is a video of me on my channel of my boyfriend and i both doing it. It was alot of fun!!! Highly recommended it!!!
Thats a crowded coffin
I can’t think of anything less I’d rather do than go on a cruise.
