- I'm finally back with a solo cover and it's in english!
I really love the Star Guardian thematic and once I knew there was going to be a collab with Porter Robinson, chances were high that I was going to cover it-
So here we are!
This version is a +7 from the original key ahah! The low notes were still low but we pushed through and we made it work ;; !

Side note about this video, I wanted to use the PV but it was made for a shorter version so we did a bit of improvising around it! Hope it's enjoyable to watch!

Great cover, but I think the grittiness of the original cover and the fact that its my favourite song ever is gonna slightly hurt my perception of your cover. LOVE it regardless of that fact though! Great work on the edits too!

@@illuim The original song's grittiness sort of feels like its being told from the perspective of someone who is both suffering and can't accept it. Which is in contrast to the lyrics at play. That to me, gives it more depth, as if you can understand how both of them see the death. One is grateful, as expressed by the lyrics, hoping for a better future, while the person singing, is sad and still can't accept it. Honestly speaking, I believe your song feels as if you viewed it from the perspective of the person who the lyrics is about, which in my opinion is also a completely fair choice to make. It may not resonate with me personally as much as the original song did, but I'm sure as others have pointed out, mightve liked the song better if that makes sense
