Hi thanks for the video. But why does one type of energy has to change during rise of temperature, not during phase change. If temperature hence Kinetic energy increases, atoms vibrate more, internuclear distance will change, so PE will also change. If we increase temperature, KE should increase and PE should increase. Bonds dont just break at melting or boiling point, they become weaker as temperature increases.
