Thank you, I have only read Isaiah through the lens and understanding of reading it as a message to spiritual Israel the church. But I recently started re reading Isaiah as a book primarily to natural Israel first and whcih also secondarily applies to believers in Christ. Reading the passages of God taking away sin from Israel and the passages of glorifying Jerusalem I always understood as the church but bu TV reading in context of Endtimes and Israel is giving me a totally new understanding..!

Amen to all of you! I just noticed that in verse one it mentions that our "lamps" are to continue to burn as we continue not to rest or to hold our peace for Jerusalem's sake. Does this correspond to the five virgins who carry the extra supply of oil in Jesus's parable?
