    Thanks For watching. Is anyone else using this Solar charger? If so let me know how you like it and if you have had any problems with.

      Have it and found it a big improvement over the $16 cheapie it replaced. Most important is the 75V upper range - my two 12 volt panels in series feed the controller at 24 Volts and reach as high as 36 volts. This was outside the range of the prior controller. My only disappointment with the model I bought is its bluetooth only, no optional wifi. The app LDSOLAR -iConnect app is a nightmare to set up properly, and will tell you you can use wifi all day long when you can't. Overall, I'm very happy with this unit for my 24V LiFePO4 battery array.

      Nice. You have a newer model. mine is gone as it went bye bye with my other trailer. Did great though while I had it.

      Of course I bought an open box retread from Amazon and saved about 50% because I'm a cheap retired guy. Theb box was smashed on one end but the unit was new.

      Hey, so far it's great. Wish it was spring so i could get a solid 4 to 5 hrs of clear skis to see full production but soon enough.
      250w in series will be over watt in 12v are you doing 24v..?

      No im doing a 12v system thats what i have at the moment but eventually when i get enough batteries( in process of testing 200 18650s) i got 3 panels for $60 at a recycle place near me in great shape. I tested them there in the shade and they were producing 30v+ anf 5.5amps+

    Do you happen to know how do I change the volt on this to 12v. Mine currently is setup at 24v and the manual is pretty useless on how to change this.

    Hi! Thanks for the video! I can’t seem to find my manual or contact for the company. Just curious if you know what it means when there is a caution triangle with a ! flashing as well as mppt and the battery icon flashing? It seems like all the voltage is correct but these flashing symbols makes me think something is wrong!

    • @johnnysweekends
      @johnnysweekends  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would check input voltage to make sure you are not putting in to much power for the controller. To many volts can fry it. Also any wires crossed.
      Is solar working correctly
      Is output of controller working..
      Is any wrong with battery or connections?
      If all of those are good either to high a voltage or maybe faulty unit.

      Thanks for the reply! I think I may have figured out the problem but not how to adjust the setting. I’m running a 24v system but the controller is showing 12v on the bottom left. Any way you could tell me how to switch this to 24v? Thanks again

      Well I sold my last trailer that had the unit in it lol and Instructions…so I don’t honestly remember. It was hard it’s just more of messing around with the settings and you end up finding it.

    • @johnnysweekends
      @johnnysweekends  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know you can change perimeters on it and in the specs it says battery voltage range 8v-32v. So i believe so can change them pretty high although never done. I know that it gave more options then needed for the average user. I do like the fact i can change these to suit a lithium battery specs in the future. So it may be possible to set to a charge of that high.
      You wanna float at 16v....

      @@johnnysweekends it's some 18650's left over from a 7s 120p build, so for fun I thought I'd build a small 12v 4s 48p. It's not going to be worked hard. I'm trying to keep it small and the color scheme is green and black, which is why I was wondering about that controller.
