JOSHUA TREE | part 3: finding solitude

  • After our little wind storm experience, we were ready to get out into the open sun. We stayed at a campsite that we booked through hipcamp: Copper Moon. I call it a campsite, but really it was open space that happens to be privately owned. So it's like staying on BLM land but for the $19/night convenience of not having to find an isolated spot on our own. We loved it!
This spot isn't technically part of Joshua Tree National Park. It's north of the park, and part of Joshua Tree, California.

My grandparents got engaged at Joshua Tree. It has a special place in my heart. They were great grandparents.
