Thanks a lot for the nice comments. We will definitely try to post more such sessions, once we are also aware of them 🙂. Any suggestions are also welcomed. We will try our best to provide the same
But I do have a question in mind, Do we need to connect On-Prem and AWS infra via Direct connect or VPN before installing Endure agent on source machine?
You need to check your connections. If thw ports respond its fine. Direct connect or VPN aren't required. However it totally depends on how secure your environment is
if source data is in Terra bytes and take too much network resources for replication. Is it possible to migrate data using snowball and load it on aws side and start synch with on prem when data is loaded in aws? Please advise
Thank You for this video. Very helpful. How do you login for the first time? There was no key generated earlier or user id/password set earlier. The other question is Can Cloud Endure migrate all type of DB's along with servers? What should be the sequence of migration - Server first, DB or both together? How to migrate both DB's and server to AWS? Please help.
Glad you liked the video. Thanks for the nice feedback 🙂. You need to just register with any of your mail id's. It need not be the aws account mail ID. It can be any other. You need to provide the aws secret access key while configuring the cloud endure. This has been shown in the video. Cloud endure basically migrates servers and whatever components installed in the server are automatically migrated. So u need not worry on migrating anything step by step. The migration will be done all at one go. Hope I am able to clear
