Olá…Hello…I am from Brazil and I’m going to Patagônia using this seatpost pro endurance. Can you tell me what the most elastomer in the package is for? Is it a spare part? Thank you very much?
Not sure if you used it in winter, but: will the elastomers stiffen in the cold? Is it then more clever to buy the Endurance post with springs to use it on a year round commuter and bikepacking rig? Cheers!
It has no adjustment knob on the bottom. But you would have to check with Redshift about the amount of space in there length wise. It never came up in our talks. Good question though. gg
The Pro Race comes with an alternative elastomer as the only form of adjustment. I've not tried it, out of the box was perfect. And the Di2 battery fits like any other seatpost. Redshift sell Di2 adaptor kits for other models but limited to certain sizes
@@oldguyandabike You may want to google it, there are still some available here and there. Does similar job at half the weight. Too bad they don’t make it anymore, don’t know why

Olá!
I have never used it, but I understand it is a firmer elastomer in case you want to increase the spring rate of the post.

I have a Dropper seat post on my gravel bike. I’m wondering if I should switch to this
Well, hard to say. I would appreciate what a dropper does every so often on stuff I ride, but overall the suspension post is more valuable to me.
gg
I'm sure PNW do a dropper with suspension?
@@thebrowns5337 I think so...I just have not heard great things about the action of any of the suspension dropper posts.

Possibly so. Being a So Cal guy, I just never think about that stuff. It's why I don't test rain jackets as well!

Does the pro race post have an adjustment knob like the others or does it actually have room for a Di2 battery?

Is it Tuesday already. Hope I didn't miss the weekend.
Hah!
gg
Have you ever tried Specialized CG-R post?
Discontinuing it was one of Spesh’s most idiotic decisions ever. Ugly AF but works brilliantly.
Nope. Never did.

If you can reference nonsense lyrics from a 1950 animated musical, there's nothing wrong with your memory!
Cheers
