If you notice, Christina never said anything bad about Britney during in person interviews, it was always what she said in magazine interviews and “hearing” it from other sources. I always thought Britney came off as too nice and that’s kinda of a sign someone is not genuine, I think Christina saw that, which might have thrown her off. I still think Christina was classy when addressing issues or questions about Britney.
Christina was right. Britney was a lost girl and people took it as If she was insulting her.
I think Christina's emotions got a little tooooooo "excited" when she LOVED WATCHING Jennifer Lopez♥ hahaha I love my girl Christina!

She's not just a diva, she's a classy Diva. Get it right, there's a difference! While others like Beyonce for instance, TRIES to be a diva, my girl Christina just IS lol The thing is, she is very humble and sweet about everything. She's someone that just loves to have a good time and I LOVE HER SOOO MUCH

As we have all seen, Britney Spears is/was caught up in the whirlwind like Christina said. Apparently Christina saw some things back then that unnerved her and when asked by Blender she spoke about it briefly. It isn't that she was lying or anything, but that she couldn't figure out a way to delicately say that Britney has issues. Christina was concerned but she wasn't close enough to Britney anymore to really know everything and so the situation became awkward.

I dont really think her and britney had serious beef. They obviously grew apart, and it didnt help that media desprately tried to pit them together..and it worked. They probably got annoyed at each other, and you can tell that they obviously dont LOVE each other from what she said, but she didn't hate her. We know christina and if she downright hated someone, the world would know. It just seemed like a super awkward situation because they werent close.

Britney isn't considered a skilled singer. While I'm sure a part of Christina wants to be commercially successful, Christina is also almost tactlessly honest at times. Britney doesn't take as much of a role in the creation of her music and already there were stories of Britney spiralling out of control, but audiences were not ready to hear of them.
