These 2 teams are very much like Hawthorne and Geelong. It doesn’t matter where they are on the ladder, they always produce a great close contest. Another great game.
@@azzaprime7257 Frees weren't paid to Collingwood as well mate, stop sooking. Oliver Henry nearly had his head taken off, no free. 2 blues players were tackled in the Pies forward 50 with not long left in the last, they had years to get rid of the ball, yet weren't done for holding the ball......Yes the umps were bad again (no surprise) but they were bad both ways. Carlton should have been better.
All compliments to both coaches of Collingwood and Carlton. It's MacRae and Voss that are putting these two powerhouses back where they belong, in the top half of the ladder. Who knows, maybe one day soon they can play off in the BIG ONE.
Every blues supporter saying they have injuries, welcome to football! Collingwood don’t have grundy, kreuger and roughead just retired early last week cause of injury. Carlton 25 year rebuild losing to a young Collingwood side hahah sucked in!
What are you smoking? Grundy is your only notable out. these are the big names we are missing weitering, McKay, pittonet, Williams and curnow. You beat a Carlton side by 4 points that didn’t have arguably the best defender in the comp on the ground😂. Carlton are still above Collingwood on the ladder and we are a better team so relax 🤣
@@obi-nine1504 🤣 cry me a river mate! If that’s how you want to see things then Carlton’s only notable outs are McKay and Weitering, Williams is a spud, Ed Curnow is 50 years old and hasn’t played all season and Grundy runs rings around Pittonent LMAO. You have beaten two top 8 teams and still have Melbourne, Brisbane, Geelong, Freo and Saints to play….Pipe down 😂 Hold this L against a team that had no expectations and was tipped to finish bottom 4. The fact that you brought up Roughead is hilarious, that bloke is terrible at football. Lmao who tf is kreuger? I just looked him up and his played 5 games 🤦🏼♂️wow missing out big time there don’t know how you’ve managed without him 🤒. All the talk nowadays is about the round 23 game between these two teams which I agree is one of the greatest games I’ve ever seen. But this game was extremely underrated and for a long time I thought it was the best game of 2022. It was a good contest between two very similar teams and they traded the lead up until half time. Collingwood did a fantastic job in the third quarter to pull away, but Carlton rattled them right till the end to comeback in that last 10 minutes. But as we know nowadays “The Pies just find a way to win” so a fantastic underrated game that think is one of the best in this decade (so far)
I'm no Carlton supporter yet I believe that in the last thirty seconds of the game just after SoS 2.0 snapped and missed Sam Walsh was taken high by Daicos and even if Carlton like you say choked they still should have won the game as the attempted tackle was definitely high.
@@thetwogardens6048 I watched the game and it was a funny old game as both sides at times dropped the bundle but the young forward for the pies was outstanding in the last term when the pies needed him he kicked two good goals and took a great mark to kick the second one of the two and I agree that the pies looked the better side with eight minutes to go the pies were 23 points up and looked like maybe kicking away but oweys kicked a good goal from the boundary that gave the blue's some momentum. Great game to watch.as an outsider more than likely the best game this year to watch.
Coming from Tiger fan, this game is one of the best closest game in so long and I can tell blues fans and pies fans was tensed up in the final min when blues almost kicked a goal to put them back in lead but misses and still got really close again after the ball throw In. Well done to both teams for awesome close game between both.
Oh for sure, I was sitting in the pocket that Carlton was kicking towards in the last quarter, when Silvangni had that snap kick at the end of the game my heart dropped and all the Carlton fans around me were cheering. You should've seen the look on their faces when they found out it was a point.
As a Carlton supporter l sound a bit stupid but Walsh was 100% caught high. But Carlton didn’t deserve the win. The way Collingwood did their ball movement through the corridor was amazing and then get an easy pass to a forward or winger. GG Collingwood, you deserved it

Awesome work boys great job big fan of Collingwood
A top four team should not rely on a little tap on the shoulder to win a game
They should’ve been ahead and stayed ahead
They were missing 7 key players and only just lost based on a legit free not being paid.
