Q15 was not this It was 50yr old diabetic with glucose level 106 which of the following will you see in the metabolic syndrome patient is suffering from? 1)Inc insulin and uric acid 2)Inc tg and total chol 3)Reduce HB and not coagulation
In question 13 they told Michaelis menten graph follows in that last two options was first order kinetics & zero order kinetics as well They also asked something abt enzyme deficiency in that options were given like branch chain amino acid couldn't able to recall the whole story but yeah !
@@drsayantaannsaha in question it was mentioned that patient abdominal girth is 95 cm and fasting glucose is 110 mg/dl ,so this might be the case of impaired fasting glucose suggestive of insulin insensitivity hence insulin level might be high too
I was debating between B1 and B6 as both can present with a "tingling sensation". So, is Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) not the answer? Because pt with TB who takes isoniazid needs to take B6 as a supplement to prevent peripheral neuropathy, as, without it, it would give a tingling sensation.
in question no 14 it was given as lactate to pyruvate ratio= 23.4 and in bracket they gave the refrence value and then asked about the diet
Thanks dear for the update
Best explanation… thank you sir

Question 14 low carb and low fat was also given
Question 15...there was HDL not total cholesterol/ LDL.
13 ) Ans : increase enzyme concentration and increase substrate concentration
Also in option first order kinetic and zero order kinetics mentioned
Answer would be at higher concentration reaction will be like zero order
Sir Q no 7 you mentioned Voracious appetite,
Seen in Kwashiorkor.
But itz seen in Marasmus
Yes i also read that
But Edema Is Hint
Q14 options were not these ..
sir in que no 11 i remember there were two options of diiodinase with their subtype like D1 dioidinase and D2 Iodinase
Thank you for the update
Yess
Yes
Yes there were two diiodinase like
Actually 3 options of deiodinase D1,D2,D3

Q15 = triglycerides + Hdl given sir (not LDL)
Many thanks dear

Q12 Pyridoxine(B6) deficiency can cause tingling sensation
Either Thiamine or Folic Acid (whichever was in the options)
