- I've had some questions from people in and out of the country, so I thought I'd put together a video on youtube.
The HUD SIGHT is a small HUD (Head up display) sighting device that utilizes an IoT-based microcontroller. It differs from a regular dat sight in that it has a built-in processing system and gyrocompass to estimate the shooting posture of the gun and display the ballistic calculation results on the sight.
I've had a lot of help from various people in realizing this project, and I hope to be able to share some of the difficulties and innovations I've encountered.

I would really like to own one! Perhaps it would be cool if people could put in the ballistics data of the ammo they're shooting out of a specific gun. Storing information on the zeroes for different ranges as a sort of DOPE chart that the sight can instantly use thanks to the laser rangefinder would make it really accurate, if that's not already the case. I mean more accurate than by calculating the ballistic trajectory based on known information, as in practice there tend to be some more parameters that like to get involved and cause deviations from the calculated trajectory. Then all that remains is to put the MOA/CEP circle on target.
Another idea that goes way beyond and possibly needs a quicker compass and/or more calculating power is to predict where to lead the moving target. Based on the estimated distance and angular velocity, as well as the parameters for the current functionality of course. But this would probably be a bit overkill and it wouldn't work ideally, since the laser can't be on target anymore when you aim to lead the target.
Any plans to make some for people to purchase?
I would love to get something like this for my space gun! Are there plans to try and mass produce this, or make in small batches?
I would be interested in knowing how you managed this, I'm looking to try a head-mounted HUD setup

This is great aiming aid! I would love to incorporate this my RC airplane flying. Right now, I am only using a fixed reflector sight. Your HUD sight combined with gyro/inertial compensation for aircraft would be awesome:
