Seems kind of crazy since it was a water gun. I'd say the person who was hit with the water is the problem. Be aware that it is law that if you throw or spray someone with "any" type of liquid in Canada you can be charged for assault with a weapon., including water.

Any real man would have laughed off getting a little squirt of water on his T-shirt. Made a joke of it. But she has a neighbour that called the police? A realistic/common sense police officer would have told the neighbour he was wasting his time being called for a water gun incident. Police have more important things to do. The lady apologized for the accidental spray. That is where it should have ended. Hopefully, she will get a sympathetic/common sense judge who will just throw the case out of court.

My step grandson was suspended from school for 12 months, for the same charge. He was playing with a friends gel water gun, after school, but unbeknown to them they were on school property. It's nuts to remove a kid from school for a full year, when he was such a good student and hadn't been in trouble before.

When I was going to school in the 50s in Canada I was building Zip guns, few of us build them, actually most of us had hunting rifles, well I finally had an accident with one Zip gun, had to go to the hospital, but the Dr had to call the cops, no big deal got my name in the paper at 13 yrs old, cops rounded up the guns, and most parents gave there sons a good Whooping, no one got charged and we all lived happily ever after,

When you where kids how many time did your balls go on people lawns. It was just part of neighborhood life. Craziness
When I was a kid, never, unless I was playing with the person at that house. We'd go to a park to play or we had a side street with no driveways and high fences on either side. We didn't really even walk on anybody's grass unless you were visiting that person. Most people knew each other and people respected each other's privacy. We only had one guy who called the police and people never went on his property or played near it. He could play music at his party, but if you had a party and he could hear the music, he'd call the police. They have to come when someone calls but I don't think they took the guy seriously.

The Karen neighbour I have called on myself for playing with BB guns, airsoft and gel blasters in my parent’s backyard. Then she along with her mother show up at my residence complaining to my parents about me. I told them to get the f*** off of my property clearly marked no trespassing with cameras. They film me giving them the finger and telling them to stay away and they called cops saying I was threatening them. Cops show up the next day and ask my side of story and understood that me and guests that come over play in my backyard and pose no threat and left. I went back out and just to prove a point to neighbourhood Karen and continue to use said toys and that I am allowed to do this on my property. They were SO MAD THE LOOK ON THEIR FACES WAS PRICELESS. This is also the same single mother Karen that smokes weed and cigarettes in front of her kid! I WISH REBEL NEWS DID A STORY ON THEM NEXT! 😅
