Journée Bouddhique Internationale - International Buddhist Day 08/04/2022

Last tenth of April, we have duly celebrated the International Buddhist Day at our Buddhist Centre and there were many participants who attended, this event, whether Buddhists or Non-Buddhists (for instance a Christian Father).
First of all, we have done the Buddha Puja,
Then secondly there was a Sangha Dana, under the shape of food offerings to monks, anbd after the meal taken by the monks, the laity could eat that food offered in fact to all participants.
We have therefore performed that action in kind and compassionate memory of all Dhamma teachers who passed away all over the world.
Then as a mark of commemoration we took group photos, then we organized some flower offerings to the Buddha along with the participation of all communities.
Morning time, before the Sangha Dana, all participants of this commemoration day poured some water on the statue of Siddhartha Gotama standing on the back of an elephant, as a mark of blessing.
There were also some Sutras chantings to the sake of world peace.
Finally, we transferred the mertis to all deceased Buddhist masters belonging to all parts of the world.

Le 10 avril dernier, nous avons dûment célébré la Journée Internationale du Bouddhisme dans notre Centre Bouddhiste et de nombreux participants ont assisté à cet événement, qu'ils soient bouddhistes ou non-bouddhistes (par exemple un père chrétien).
Tout d'abord, nous avons fait le Bouddha Puja,
Ensuite, il y avait une Sangha Dana, sous la forme d'offrandes de nourriture aux moines, et après le repas pris par les moines, les laïcs pouvaient manger cette nourriture offerte en fait à tous les participants.
Nous avons donc effectué cette action en nature et en mémoire compatissante de tous les enseignants du Dhamma qui sont décédés partout dans le monde.
Ensuite, comme une marque de commémoration, nous avons pris des photos de groupe, puis nous avons organisé des offrandes de fleurs au Bouddha avec la participation de toutes les communautés.
Le matin, avant la Sangha Dana, tous les participants à cette journée de commémoration ont versé de l'eau sur la statue de Siddhartha Gotama, debout sur le dos d'un éléphant, en signe de bénédiction.
Il y avait aussi des chants Sutras pour la paix du monde.
Enfin, nous avons transféré la mertis à tous les maîtres bouddhistes décédés appartenant à toutes les parties du monde.
