NEVER EVER grind anything on the SIDE of a cutting wheel. Unless of course, you want a high speed cutting wheel to explode in your face.

We have been made it in 1997 for moveable stand 8 feet satellite dish 📡 Antenna and still i have that 😊 in those days i was using analogue receiver brand winnersat model no 912 C and California c band LNB with chaparral polarizer 😊

There's a big PLASTIC easily meltable gear, just inside the nose of the output shaft on that motor. When the heat from your welder moves along the shaft and melts it where it fastens to the shaft, then what? A much better idea, would be to CROSSPIN your extension to the output.
so at about the 5:18 minute mark, your suggestion to CROSSPIN would be done at this point. I wonder if a metal epoxy would bond sufficiently enough to hold here ?
@@billybobjoe2818 Glue might work, but I wonder for how long. Smooth surfaces often don't provide the best bond. This is going to be loaded in two different directions. Maybe crosspin AND bond it.
@@randallsemrau6911 I never considered metal epoxy "glue". The stuff I've used in the past is incredible - "Metal Mend" I used to call it. After it's cured, it can be drilled and tapped ! So when you say crosspin, that would entail a hole drilled through the motor output shaft and the coupling then a roll pin inserted. THx for your quick reply. Disability confinement sucks.
@@billybobjoe2818 It's glue. The Boeing 787's I maintain every day, are the perfect example of glue, metal particles and woven strands of carbon fiber keeping a machine safely in the sky. So call it what you like, but used the right way, it might work.
