I’ll rant a little bit so beware,
Oh boi, where do I begin.
So I had this idea of making a video on the song when I first listened to it. Luther singing is perfect. I thought it can be completed within a month, but look at that, 2 months had gone by ha ha ha…anyway, Ive never worked on anything this “big” before. I must admit, my patience was running out and I was starting to doubt I could ever finish it, and honestly I felt nervous out of nowhere, like, it wasn’t that great so whats the point, right?. (that’s why there r parts I didn’t colour, sr). I didn’t wanna hate what I spent so much time on, tho I kinda feel that way the longer I work on it.
The best thing is that this project taught me more than ive ever learned on my own. Ive learned to paint, tho it wasn’t great, at least im not that afraid of using colours anymore. Fun fact, the part where Connor‘s dressing up, I filmed my mom to get the movement right =)) editing is a pain! I cant not stress it enough. I couldn’t seem to render the colours right, u can catch that in the video,either it was too dark or its kinda lagging(?)… it took me 2 whole days, it probably shouldn’t be that long I bet. But honestly, I’m glad I was able to finish it, I hope u enjoy this video :D
Oh and the artstyle in this was kinda inconsistent xD bc I wanted it to have a more serious tone and my style is way too cartoonish for that. So I tried to change it and some scenes were taken straight from the game, it all kinda ended up really messy and weird... idk

I know there are some parts you're insecure about, but honestly? This is beautiful. I can't stress that enough. The end result is so smooth, you managed to capture a lot in the little gestures :) and the SHADING UGH 😍

I have this song on a playlist dedicated to Connor even though it's Luther singing because it has Connor in the video and this song is just...everything. It's sobering and beautiful and sums up the faith the Androids have that "everything will be alright" if they "hold on just a little while longer"
