A girl lived a few centuries ago, a man she'd known once who loved her wrote a poem about her and so she's now being sung about in a beautiful song hundreds of years after she died, I love art. Wonderful song, you did the poem justice!
Thank you. I did find myself wondering about this lovely woman, and who she was. She must have been quite a beautiful soul to inspire such a touching poem.

That castle in the background is definitely Eilan Donan Castle in Scotland! I am so proud of recognising it, because I am not Scottish. I only drove by the castle in a bus a few months ago and was impressed with its beauty. 😊
It is the most magical castle and one of my favorites in Scotland.

Karlienes done it again just such a beautiful flow of voice and instruments. It's like a 100 year aged whiskey it mellows and becomes richer the longer it ages. Karlienes songs just keep growing from years ago to the future I just can't stop re listening over again and again.

Thank you. I loved how your beautiful song, grounded in the poem of William Motherwell, opened up for me --feelings of my mother's maternal Scottish (Morrison) ancestry. Introduced new words such a "gloaming" and made me curious to learn about the life and works of Motherwell (wiki). I've ordered "The Harp of Renfrewshire" (Cornell U. reprint, 2009). Wow. HOLY MAZZILLO! What a SUPER HOT VIBRATO you got there!!!! And that effect I'm not sure of the name but I like to call it the 'Kelly Clarkson' effect. It's where there's one or more voices in one octave, then others on a different octave in the background. Kelly Clarkson was the first I heard to use that effect a lot, and it makes it sound hotter. And "Mazzillo" as in 'Holy Mazzillo' is the name of a great maker of my favorite instrument in the world (Italian bagpipes, yes, there are such things).
This deserves more views and likes.

Haha, the 'music' on the radio is indeed terrible, I'll agree with you there, but if you're willing to hunt for it, you can still find some fantastic artists making gorgeous music. It depends on what you like to listen to.

Independent artists who are actually making music because they love it and work really hard to make something beautiful are the type I like to support. :')
@@brianlewis6081 I was raised in the church and went to a church owned school, it's pretty much all I've known my whole life so I've read the Bible already and been baptised in a river tho the priest had mine done in the river in Autumn as a teen. 😁
