**Built in 2012 ABANDONED in 2021** Exploring a Forgotten Abandoned $8 Million Dollar Dream Mansion

  • This 6000 Square Foot Home was custom built in 2012. It costed just over $1.6 million to construct, but is now worth an unbelievable $7.8 Million Dollars when it sold to a developer just this year.
This is the neighbouring house to the home in my previous video. Although power is still on, they will be completely stripped of any content that is reusable and salvageable before demolition.

My husband builds houses like this in Montana. I know he would absolutely devastated to learn that all his hard work and attention to detail was going to be destroyed in less than ten years. Especially because the houses he builds are so extremely out of our price range 😞

It’s a dream home that is still a fairly young house. All those millions of dollars gone to waste. It’s in too good condition to be demolished. What is wrong with people? Such a beautiful house. For the most part it still looks fairly new. It’s very upsetting that it is set to be destroyed. Thank you for the tour of it .

This house. Oh.My.Gosh! This "tear down" house is nicer than anything I have EVER lived in or ever will live in. I am 64yrs so it is doubtful I will ever be able to afford even half of this house. The waste all over the world is such a friggin shame. I just watched a multiple demolition of high rises brought down in China.
I would be happy with 1500 square feet of a beauty like this one. Good job on showcasing these lovely homes, Ethan. Like many others I love these but also the mid-century modern houses, or even old farmhouses.

I'm still trying to lift my jaw off the floor, omg, GORGEOUS house, the best you've shown yet. Why are these homes vacant and sold so soon Ethan? Do they go into foreclosure? Do the people that lived there only 9 yrs build bigger homes? I just can't wrap my head around this house being demolished. Seriously, the kitchen cabinets/counter tops alone probably cost upwards of $80,000 or more. (US dollars) We are talking really high end here. Wow, just wow.

It's the pool, the spiral staircase, and the kitchen that do it for me. The fact that this house is 9 years old and is being demolished...my blood is boiling. We could resolve the issue of people becoming homeless, and yet...we have a greedy, wasteful, selfish society (not everyone, just in general).

Watched loads of these videos now. (I'm in the UK, where homes are very expensive) The all seem extreme, grandiose, massive fantastic staircases, rather ridiculous living areas, strangely 'smallish kitchens' for the number of mouths potentially to be fed and probably expensive to maintain in general upkeep and day to day running expenses. No logic, in a country where people are living out of cars, families in motel rooms and tent cities. But I would just love the opportunity to spend a few days in one :) as they say, how the other half live, or waste! - meanwhile lecturing to us to save the planet.

I’m new to your channel. The trauma nurse in me cringed when I saw that stair case!! The area off the kitchen with the matching granite counters and cabinets are what I would call a butlers pantry and the bathroom between the 2 bedrooms is referred to as a jack and Jill bathroom. I’m loving going back and watching your previous videos. I would love to know more about who or what profession the previous owners may have had. Great job & be safe.

I I would never have enough goods to fill up a pantry that size.

This beautiful, amazing house is way to nice to demolish! I don’t know if I’m right or not, but I counted six bedrooms and five bathrooms, besides the one in the bathhouse. Just a gorgeous house and spiral staircase!

My Uncle built a custom modern Victorian in '05, 13 years later he sold it. I'm glad it wasn't demolished. Considering the time he sold it during the recession.

Hey Ethan, just to help you out: it cost just over not "it costed just over". But I do love your videos and your enthusiasm.
