Chat got to is not currently using the advanced chat gpt-4o voice model. It's using the old one. Just wait a little longer for the new voice model to be added. The one that was demoed by open AI on stage is not the one in the app currently. Though it will be in a few weeks (most likely)

You should use sophisticated promts to setup the Chat according to your personal issues. It could make the Chat much more useful and accurate.

Dear, you exposed my secret, I started speaking English in chatgpt voice conversation. Got a lot of tips and secrets that TH-cam channels and English mentors fail to deliver. I learned clarity vs quantity of speech. Templates are necessary for the flow. Active listening can help a lot and get exposed to a lot of vocabulary rather than learning them one by one. And there is much more to say.

OpenAI ещё не открыли доступ к голосу новой модели, поэтому используется старая схема: голос распознаётся в текст (теряются все тонкости) -> текст отправляется в модель -> модель генерирует текст -> текст отправляется в синтезатор -> ты слышишь результат. Ждём официального запуска, думаю будет супер!

If someone is learning English, wouldnt they struggle following this video tutorial? I know I'm learning Spanish and it wouldnt help me much if they did the whole video in Spanish to tell me how to learn it.
It depends! I’m an English learner and my level is intermediate, so I can communicate to a English native speakers but I struggle to do it.
I can understand all of words that she said but I can’t speak fluently.
In my case, this kind of video is better than a video in Portuguese teaching English.
