- Peter Harvey (@PeterHarveyFilm) is a Filmmaker and Award Winning Producer. For over a decade Peter has been producing films all around the world. He was also the producer who made my journey to Mongolia possible in 2016 for the tenth season of Heartland on CBC. Some of his latest projects include the the very funny movie "Pretend We’re Kissing", The film "Acquainted" and series "Mindfudge" on CBC’s streaming platform Gem. I know him as a man of his word and to always “Get’r Done”

I love how Peter has come to the place of having genuine "relief" and "hope" when his friends succeed even if it means he fails. It takes a lot of life to become that evolved. Wishing him much success in future endeavors.

I loved this first podcast. As you were talking about Children’s film and I laughed a lot because those films were done when I was middle age. Children films for me were mostly Disney. The one I loved was Pete’s Dragon. Was during my 4th or 5th grade and and for me I put myself into the fantasy of what my imagination of what my pretend animal that I could see but no one else could. This film brought out the story telling side of me and how cool it would be to write and story and have someone make it into a film. Was awesome listening to you and Peter Harvey talking about all aspects of film making and how the different aspects you live to do. Thanks, was a great podcast.
In my opinion, a really good story has the potential to change the heart of anyone who truly enters in.... Therefore, I feel that a good story, especially fantasy, has the capacity to change the world. An example in my own life has been the Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings. I don't think it has been an escape for me. I have been able to see my own life from a new perspective through these stories. I have drawn strength and endurance in the journey from the characters' struggles and how they overcome. The significance for me is truly beyond words that I can convey here. I'm enjoying the discussion on this podcast. I'm glad that I was led here. ❤️

After listening to your conversation with Peter Harvey, it made me think of the movie "Lucky"...you should really watch it if you haven't already. Reminded me of parts of the conversation you had with Peter. I have to be honest, I had never listened to a podcast until I listened to a couple episodes of yours. I have a short attention span and I had my doubts about one keeping my attention that long.
I was pleasantly surprised to have enjoyed them all the way through though. I had no idea VR Documentaries existed, that is such a cool concept! I'm also reminded of The Neverending Story ❤️.Thanks for making these Graham! I'm looking forward to getting caught up on all of them 🙂
Enjoyed the discussion on film. One of the bold story telling endeavors I have loved the last couple years is The Chosen due to excellence in backstories, arch of characters, excellence in casting and yet done in such unique ways of funding.

Only 2 seasons thus far (8 episodes/each). Beautifully done for those who want to find something taking classic characters and exploring in vividly unique ways.
Very good subject of podcast Graham. A mixture of unimaginable feelings that good direction, production, and acting in a film or series can give us. A good example for me happens in Heartland. One of my favorite episodes is in the third season. Hanley's haunted barn. I felt like I was in danger, in that barn even though I was on the living room sofa. Stay safe. 🙌

I am a big Heartland fan but that is not just due to a great and relatable (family) story and to wonderful directing. It is due to a great set of actors as well. Now that you are no longer in the show, I am so happy you are doing a podcast which I only learned today. This way we get to hear the real person, Graham. Awesome. j'ai du retard dans les saisons de heartland mais je peux dire que la saison 14 où ton personnage meurs est vraiment très touchant c'est même difficile de regarder la saison car on ressent tellement la tristesse d'amy et c'est difficile de ne pas pleurer à chaque épisode.
je découvre aujourd'hui ton podcast "Time has come" et je suis très triste car je ne parle pas beaucoup anglais et le sous titrage youtube est juste horrible.
est ce qu'il serait possible de faire traduire tes vidéos pour nous français qui t'adorons et qui adorons heartland ?
