Nagaland state was created to divide nagas into Assam, Manipur, Arunachal and Nagaland.
Its like if Maharashtra was created but Nashik area put into Gujarat, Nagpur area put into MP, Kohlapur area into Karnataka and Nandid area into Telangana.
This division has made many nagas as minority in other states.
