The size is little bigger than shoes size so that your toes will not touch the front part. Its called comfort type clog. Its designed that way. Thats why everyone feel its bigger. If you see, your none of the toes will touch the front part and side part of the clog.

I wear my crocs daily and even after 3 years of extreme usage they are in good condition if you don’t get bored by wearing the same daily then it will at least be for use for about 4years (minimum). Although I didn’t brought it from India but from Indonesia but I don’t think there will be any change.
