The first owner of my '19 Scrambler had installed a Zhard exhaust and decat. I knew about the slip-ons but I didn't find out about the decat until I removed the exhaust guards while installing the higher crash bars, when I had to remove the header on the right side. I've always loved the sound. My Adv buddies always comment on it. It's so unique compared to other adv bikes. I've never heard the slash cuts in person, but it has to be louder than mine.

You’re lucky the decat was already done for you. Really cuts down on any heat issues. These Scramblers have a beautiful sounding engine.

I'm not sure if these are the newer slash cuts that come with baffles, if you got them in the last few months and they aren't old stock they should be. I found the baffles necessary for my ears! I wrapped mine in fibreglass baffle wrap which worked a treat. Also, they can be a bit tight to get on and I came across a good tip on Life of a Scrambler's channel (great channel) which is...take off the captive nut on the shield mounting tang in the middle, pop a bit of liquid soap inside the pipe, get a bit of wood and put it against the tang and tap them in. Captive nut slips back on easily.
Something else I found was worth its weight was a Shapeways Leg Saver. This is a plastic shield that stops your right calf getting fried if you're riding slowly in tech terrain or round town. Again, Life of a Scrambler has a good vid on this.

I’ve seen his vids. Mine went on very easily doing the same as I’ve done for decades. I just spray the inside of the female end and the outside of the male end with WD40. Then once everything is tight, I spray the whole pipe and a rag with brake cleaner and wipe everything down so you don’t get any unwanted prints when fired up. Mine are the new ones that have the baffles. TT added those for the 22-23 bikes that had the cats moved into the silencers. My pipes stay cool and I have no heat issues.

Triumph did an amazing job designing the prefect bike.
Mine is all stock, love this thing as is.
Stock pipes look and sound much better in my opinion.
To each their own I guess.
Beautiful bike though, have fun and be safe.

Thank you. It’s great we all have different tastes. I agree Triumph built a beautiful bike. But I remember scramblers of the past and these pipes fit the look of that era and that’s where my vision lays. Unfortunately the sound being quieter than that of my GSA was also not working for me.

My bikes the euro5 version. I did the factory reset for the pipes. Start up the bike from cold and NEVER touch the throttle. Let it idle till the fan comes on. After the fan comes on, let it idle another 12 minutes, then turn it off. That’s how to do the reset. My bike runs great. Just as smooth as off the showroom floor with no issues.
