I loved him when he played in The Guardian, but, he was TREMENDOUSLY enjoyable as The Mentalist. Love that show. Wished they would've let him use his Aussie accent. He could've been a world traveling carnie guy. He's so sexy, and has the same walk and demeanor as Hugh Jackman. Love those Aussie men.😍

Ok legit I just watched boy swallows universe..so I had to look up something with this guy's who plays Robert in it real name Simon baker...I just cried watching the part where he explains what happened in the car..won't say more won't spoil..but that..was the best genuine acting..I have seen in years (other than the cast of godzilla minus one but I'm referring to English speaking specifically)...omg Simon baker can ACT..IM IMPRESSED

Don't think he minds. The Mentalist and The Guardian are what he is best known for in US. Plus I read somewhere that for the 5th season of The Mentalist, Baker negotiated for and received a whopping 30 million dollar payday ----- for one year's work.
He should be fine with it, if it wasn't for The Mentalist, he wouldn't have had any major success or become a household name. The series was really popular and successful. The character he played was beloved, and allowed him to flex his acting muscles.
