    That turned out great. I love that you can see the rings. I'm glad you didn't get any purple. Now you can mark that off your bucket list.

    In this vein, it would be interesting to one side with red and white “stripes” and the other with a blue field, with white “stars”.

    As a yoga teacher, I’d like to point out that you were doing a really slow flow yoga practice here. I’m going to put my yoga hat on next time I go into my art studio. Because this was magical and so slow!

      I definitely control my breathing. 😂

    I tried one with the aqua & coppers but the aqua wasn't metallic so the aqua took over. No boulder cells 😔 but going to try again w/ all metallic. I also use the recipe u use but maybe I'm still took thick.

    Love the art you make. I had a thought.. and I wanted to know if it would be possible. Do you think using a really fine aerosal mister around the outside edge of paint would stop it from drying too fast? Keep it moist, without actually adding water. Kelly

    • @GinaDeLuca
      @GinaDeLuca  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why would you need to do that? Not sure I’m understanding. It will dry from the edges in. This is normal.

  • @deborahcollard9639

    Fabulous Gena! I was holding my breath as the paint was moving so slowly…If that had been me, I would have been panicking thinking the paint wouldn’t move. Can I ask, when making up the Bordeaux red, did you use the whole tube? Similarly with the jar of sapphire, did you have to use a whole jar? Many thanks.

    • @GinaDeLuca
      @GinaDeLuca  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      A whole tube of red, yes because it was the background color. The blue only about an ounce in the small cups.

    How long do you let the final sit before it is totally dry?

    • @GinaDeLuca
      @GinaDeLuca  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This size, 18x24 is about 2 days until
      Dry to the touch. 3-4 weeks to cure

    This is so gorgeous!! Would you please tell me what your ratios are? Any satin enamel? I read that you mix 1 p paint and 2parts floetrol, but, I thought you use owetrol,also, do you put any water in your mix? Thank you in advance if you can't advise me in any way. Love love love all of your creations!

    OMG I get purple too often when I try to fix what doesn’t need fixing. Either I I want more of the blue to show or other times red. So I add one or the other or tilt in a different direction, ugh. I don’t like doing straight pours or any technique I have to layer colors then pour. I’ve attempted 6 times to complete a project I I promised 2 yrs ago! 20x20 solid wood. I’m then adding a piece of aluminum in cut out in the shape of Texas to lay on top of the wood. It will be a door/lid for the counter top on our traveling BBQ pit.

    So, to change up your composition, why not rotate your canvas a quarter turn before you pour off that first top right corner? I don't think you need to change a thing. You do seem to fret about it though. And I'm all about relieving stress. 😁😁😁😎. This is fantastic. Silver instead of white, who knew? Gina of course!

    • @GinaDeLuca
      @GinaDeLuca  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The way it comes out of the cup, that corner looks like it will “corner” more easily. But I will tilt the other way next time just to see what effect it has.
