I couldn't agree with you more. The values of yesteryear are almost dead. I can only name a few pianists alive today who truly use the instrument to the fullest.
Wouldn't that be a failure on the part of those meant to communicate and transmit theses values? Theses values may have not been so important if they were taken for granted and expected to perpetuate themselves magically after all...
