@@Starseedrisingg Not arrogant, it's the truth. When a person keeps getting high and doesn't clean himself he OBVIOUSLY thinks the habit of getting high is better than everything else in his life. HE KNEW that heroin would cripple him and make him a subhuman yet he kept shooting. Everyone makes choices and we keep moving forward with the choices we make. He knew the dangers of dependency and the hell of withdrawal, yet he CHOSE to start shooting H again. When the options showed up in front of him :
      a) living in that constant hell for months searching for his fix just to keep getting high a few times a day and
      b) cutting all that shit out of his life and living a great life with his family and friends with no chemical dependencies.
He chose a, and shot himself (or got offed by someone else). So fuck Cobain you know? Good songwriting and singing , but a pretentious fucking junkie.

Yeah, nostalgia is good. Living in the past sucks. I tend to find people who have interesting or fulfilling lives don't spend their social time playing the "Remember when" game.
I hear what you are saying. But there are a lot of bands that were just as good as Nirvana, still plying their trade today. I saw Soundgarden absolutely implode on the the same stage that 3 hours before heralded The Prodigy's explosion into the mainstream..... the EXACT SAME FESTIVAL!!!
And I can tell you, we don't bang on about how we saw the mediocre and absolute travesty of a "giant" from that "Seattle Scene"...
My point is this, there are new Nirvanas playing all the time. You won't find them on MTV or HOT97 (or whatever the yanks watch/listen to for the latest sounds).
Don't get me wrong, it would of have been nice if I could of saw Nirvana. But I was under-age for the only gig I could have gone too. And the gigs/bands I have seen were just as passionate, and even better, than Nirvana. They were just unfortunate/lucky not to have a sycophantic cult build an image that in truthfulness probably isn't fully warranted.
Put it another way, would people still be worshipping Kurt if he didn't blow his brains out? Hell, even the Rolling Stones are past their used by date, and surviving on the memories of rose-tinted glasses of a Boomer generation who are at their legal retirement age.
I don't feel sorry for people who never got to see that amazing band. I feel sorry for the people who's lives are defined by seeing it ;)

@@maxludlow6629 maybe my experience was unique, but I was well aware of the consequences of heroin use well before the 90s. My mother, with whom I'd had minimal contact with as a small child, came home to live with her parents (who had raised me) when I was 12 & she was trying to kick heroin. My bedroom was next door to the one she was staying in. They had one common wall. I will NEVER forget the sounds that permeated that wall. It was like there was a wild animal trapped in the room next door, wounded & dying, screaming in pain, pounding its skull against the wall, ripping its hair out, clawing at the doors & windows, trying to find a way out, begging to die in a low, gutteral tone that could not possibly be coming from a human being. She LITERALLY ceased to be a human for a while there.
It understandably made a huge impression on me. Traumatized? Oh yeah, for sure, but the whole ugly experienced kept me from EVER even wanting to try heroin. I remember thinking to myself as I l lay awake listening to her suffering in the next room, unable to sleep with all that going on, "There is NOTHING that could make me feel so good that I would be willing to feel THAT bad. Nothing."
Yeah, now that I'm thinking about it, probably not most people's typical experience growing up.
Hey, but I also remember watching Starsky & Hutch when I was a kid, & there was one episode where Starsky got all strung out on heroin working undercover to infiltrate some drug kingpin's ranks, & it showed a fairly accurate depiction of heroin withdrawals, albeit tamed down for primetime television. I'm sure there were other depictions of heroin addicts in movies & on TV back then. Maybe you had decent parents who didn't let you watch that kind of stuff.
People been knowing what heroin is like for centuries now. Wasn't there substance abuse in his family too? He may not have known the full extent, but he wasn't clueless or niaive about what he was getting into when he started using. There were people around him that walked that path before him. I'm pretty sure that Andrew Wood had already died of a heroin overdose before Kurt had his first taste, not that the two bands fraternized, but I'm sure their circles overlapped somewhat. He knew.

True, but I don't think it was the music industry that was the reason he killed himself. That was just an excuse Kurt put in his suicide note. The true reason he killed himself is because he was addicted to heroin and knew he didn't have the willpower to beat it. Interestingly he doesn't mention heroin or his addiction at all in the suicide note, suggesting his inability to beat heroin was more shameful to admit than his loss of passion for music (a side effect of opiate addiction). Touring also made it hard to acquire heroin, a further reason he attributed blame to music. The intervention made him realise that nobody around him was going to tolerate his problem anymore, and when it came to the crunch he would rather die by his own hand than lose his band and family, and be a very public fuck-up. At least by suicide he could be romanticised as a young dead rockstar, and avoid experiencing the inevitable public humiliation, rather than become a lonely, washed up old man that chose heroin over everyone that cared about him. He knew his life was about to fall apart publicly due to his heroin addiction, knew he couldn't beat heroin, and chose death instead. "It's better to burn out than to fade away"

Right, I was 25 when kurt passed away, and I definitely don't view him as this god like mythic figure, I actually met kurt, krist and Chad in 1989 in my hometown of Cincinnati when they played at murphys pub when i was a student at UC. I see him as a super talented musician who died too soon. But to my kids, they find it hard to believe that he really existed. My oldest was 3 when he passes and my youngest was born in ' '96. Krist is a big man with even bigger heart. This is that Croatian side in his upbringing. Definitely Kurt's best friend, and it's very sad that he couldn't help him in the end. Much closer to Kurt than everyone around him, everyone took advantage of Kurt. His talent, fame and money. Even other members of the band. Everyone used him except Krist . 'Courtney Love Kurt's Money' - that's graffiti in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia where Krist was in '93. in an alternative club where I was a DJ, and he came to get a little away from the fans in my DJ booth. And he stayed with me until the end. He was very modest and funny. We drank bad beer, he really liked the kind of music I played and he insisted that we speak in Croatian - which was hilarious to me. Great guy!

Krist might have felt he wouldn't ever see Kurt again, but it wasnt because of their fight they had because Kurt didnt want to go to rehab or what might happen if he didn't. I imagine Kurt was still smarting because his good friend Krist participated in a bogus intervention by CL when she was probably more addicted at the time than Kurt.. i imagine Kurt saw it as a betrayal.
So he went to rehab fully knowing that he probably would not stay. In his mind i think he was finished with everyone who participated in the intervention. When you quit a substance you have to be ready to do it and to do it for no one but yourself or it will not happen. Im sure he felt betrayed by his closest people falling into CL's hypocritical agenda. When he leff rehab he clearly had a plan as he purchased 2 air fares for a future date out of Seattle. I think he had plan and was planning a new start in his life. I think that's what Krist was picking up on. Kurt envisioned a new start that did not include him.
It was strange behavior on Krist's part seeing how he and Shelley wouldnt even attend his wedding because they did not approve of CL. But then he aligns himself with her on a bogus CL intervention. Would you not see that as a betrayal?

I think Krist is sad because Kurt left him lonely and he was at first mad that Kurt could be "selfish" to leave him on earth alone, I feel like they were soulmates. Not romantically but a soulmate is a person with whom one has a feeling of deep or natural affinity. This may involve similarity, love, romance, platonic relationships, comfort, intimacy, spirituality, compatibility and trust. And the fact that Kurt could do such a thing without thinking how this will affect Krist made Krist depressed and changed him forever because he doesn't have his other half with him. Saying I'm sorry for his loss means nothing it's just a reminder ik how it feels and he just likes to talk about the good times with Kurt because reminiscing on fond memories is a lot healthier than talking about his death and the impact it had

Because Gold Mountain Management wanted Kurt to go back to rehab to force Nirvana to go back on tour. It was all about the money to Krist and Kurt was done. Your story is wrong... Kurt escaped Exodus and came back and that's when Krist tried to force Kurt to go back to rehab was when he came back from Exodus and yeah Kurt beat Krist's ass in an airplane terminal and ran off and that would explain one of the 2 tickets that Kurt was in possession of when they found his body.
But let me ask you a very important question Mr. Narrator:
If Kurt was so "suicidal" and "depressed" all of the time then why did he wait until April 5th to take his own life instead of just killing himself on March 30th when he got the gun? The gun was purchased as a means of security for Kurt simply until he could use that other plane ticket to go to Los Angeles to go to Michael Stipe (that's where the other plane ticket comes in that Kurt was in possession of when they found his body)
The quote unquote "suicide note" was a resignation letter to all the fans of Nirvana and the members of Nirvana at the time to let them know that Kurt was done! It was to let them know that he didn't want to play music anymore because playing and writing music wasn't fun anymore and when something fun becomes work that's when it's no longer fun. I really could go on and on about all of this but if you've watched Soaked In Bleach you'll see the damning evidence that proves Kurt Cobain was murdered and one of those pieces of evidence is the fact that the spent shotgun shell was on the opposite side of the room that it was supposed to eject from the shotgun (and that's the biggest tell that this was a murder made to look like a suicide) the other damning piece of evidence is the fact that Courtney tried to hire El Duce to kill Kurt Cobain for $50,000 and make it look like suicide and I remember watching the documentary because even he said that: "she said to blow his fucking head off and make it look like suicide"
The fact that both Courtney and Kurt had the same lawyer or attorney would signify that she knew that Kurt was in the process of rewriting his will and writing Courtney out of it and that would also mean that Courtney knew that Kurt wanted a divorce and that he was done being the puppet that she wanted him to be.
The fact that such a significant quote unquote "suicide note" would be planted in a flower pot with a pen through it and I used the word planted as a pun not necessarily as somebody put it there because the last four lines of that note actually lined up to the alphabet both upper and lowercase that Courtney mimicked from Kurt's journal that was in her backpack that was left at Rosemary Carol's house along with a to-do list and the big thing on that paper said to get arrested and it was underlined three times. We know about the backpack that got left at Rosemary Carol's house because she contacted Tom Grant when she noticed that Courtney left a bag there.
We could also talk about the fact that this probably isn't the first time the mention of suicide was in the air when it comes to Kurt Cobain. Many people look at what happened in Rome as a suicide attempt and it was actually the first attempt on Kurt's life in the form of a rohypnol overdose... Courtney and Cali were present when that happened. Kurt would say later that Rome wasn't a suicide attempt and that's all he would say. If you go back even further then you will understand why Kurt locked himself in a hotel bathroom with a gun and that was because he was afraid of Courtney, and when I say you've got to go back further it's because when Courtney was married the first time she actually bullied her husband to the point where she would threaten to hire people to fuck him up if he didn't do what she told him to do and in one instance she actually tried just at the bed on fire while he was asleep.
She would go on to claim later that the police gave her the shotgun from the crime scene which they are still in possession of this day but she would tell the world but they gave it back to her and she melted it down. But the big question for me is this; if someone commits suicide then why would you have the very green house where the supposed suicide happened torn down?
Why would it be acceptable if you were such a concerned spouse to accept suicide as a cause of death in less than 30 minutes and the only time the homicide unit showed up was simply to identify the body as Kurt Cobain? Why would you claim that your bass player in the band Hole (Kristen Pfaff) was having an affair with the person that you were married to that was faithful to you and then that same person that you would claim was having an affair with your husband would be found dead right after your husband was?
Why would you pay your live in nanny and ex-boyfriend $30,000 after your husband was found dead and you inherited all of their money before he went to California himself?
And for the sake of irony you've got to remember that she wanted Dylan to go to the greenhouse to look for Kurt and Dylan refused to but Dylan never mentioned once to Tom Grant that there was even a greenhouse above the garage... Here's where the irony comes in; the whole reason Kurt even needed that shotgun with for security and ironically it was Gary Smith who was there to install a security system who found Kurt Cobain dead?
A lot of people talk about Allen Wrench and I don't think such a person exists. I believe that they only people that were involved were Dylan Carlson and Cali DeWitt, I believe that Dylan was the one who spiked Kurt's drink with rohypnol and I believe that it was Cali who got down on one knee and put the shotgun in Kurt's mouth and pulled the trigger and when he pulled the trigger the bird shot that was in the shotgun actually got lodged in the roof of Kurt's mouth and that's when the lethal dose of black tar heroin was shot into Kurt's arm.
And as an added bonus after Kurt supposedly shot himself in the mouth and then supposedly shot himself up with a lethal dose of heroin, he supposedly had enough energy without spilling a drop of his own blood to reach over pull down his sleeve where the injection site was and put the needle back in the box. A lot of people believe that Kurt pulled out his own wallet pulled out his ID card and made it visible with the belief that he blew his own head off for identification but that wasn't the case, the police who arrived at the scene after the electrician found Kurt Cobain's body... Police officers pulled out his ID card as you have seen in the crime scene photos.
I know that Kurt Cobain was murdered and I have studied this case for 20 plus years and Kurt Cobain will never get the Justice he truly deserves because in the state of Seattle if a known junkie overdoses then it is automatically written off as a suicide and I believe that Courtney Love knew this and that's why it took them only 30 minutes to rule his death out as a suicide.
I don't really trust anything that Charles R. Double Cross has to say because I'm pretty sure that anything he puts in a book Courtney has complete control over so to call himself a writer is a joke because writers write for themselves without letting others control the narrative what it is they have to say. If you look at the timeline of when Montage Of Heck was released then you will see that they released that one first before Soaked In Bleach simply because nobody's going to want to watch two Nirvana documentaries in the same year and Montage Of Heck was designed to make Kurt Cobain look like the villain and dehumanize Kurt Cobain to the point where he wouldn't have any credibility and people would just see him in another light. I don't think that Kurt Cobain would have ever made that story about fucking the retarded girl public because you've got to remember that Kurt was a feminist and he stood up for women and Nirvana has played several charities for the sake of being a feminist and being the voice of women who were afraid to speak up. And then you've got Courtney cussing at Kurt because Frances was crying and that made him out to look like a bad father so that was the design of Montage Of Heck and when Soaked In Bleach came out nobody watched it because by then Courtney Love had stripped Kurt Cobain of any human decency and it was designed to make people think that Kurt was the bad guy and with that design came the ability to finally have the public say maybe he deserved to die or good riddance.
The Seattle Police Department is still in possession of film that wasn't developed from the crime scene and Courtney wants to speak for the public and say that no one's interested in seeing it because she's afraid of being incriminated but they're still undeveloped rolls of film from the scene in the possession of the Seattle Police Department to this day that will probably never see the light of day as long as Courtney keeps telling them that nobody wants to see it that it doesn't need to be developed... And she got her own daughter to go along with this and I guess for the sympathy of his daughter that that film will never see the light of day and that's sad.
Your story has more holes in it than a condom from a gold digger to a millionaire.
You have to go out and find the truth because the media isn't going to tell you the truth and you have to learn to read between the lines and you'll actually be able to see what's real and what's bullshit.

What was the fight about though? Obviously there was a disagreement. Kurt was doing fantastic up until a key event a month before his death, he caught Courtney cheating on him. According to Courtney Kurt was so hurt he roofied himself and almost died......imagine how Kurt must have felt? He had no drugs in his system when he overdosed in March 93' so he got back on drugs after that.
We really have to understand how traumatized Kurt was by divorce as a young child and he wrote about how he would fight to his death to protect Francess from divorce, then he finds himself in his worst nightmare. He caught his wife cheating and told her it was over and getting a divorce, she roofied him and tried to kill him that night. He wakes up from the coma and has to know he was drugged, at this point he must have gotten pretty scared. I think he got back on drugs to cope with the stress of the situation then Courtney used that to say she will take custody of Francess since he was on drugs, that's when Kurt burned the bridges with everyone.
Why do people have to hear this from me? I might have actually believed Kurt killed himself they spun this narrative becaus there is logic in it. The thing is, this narrative doesn't exist. Not one person other than Courtney has said anything about cheating or divorce.
I'll pretend to be Krist: Why do I think Kurt killed himself? He was doing so well then relapsed on drugs when he caught his wife cheating, he couldn't handle divorce or the thought of loosing Francess and took the easy way out".
Now, doesn't that sound a lot better than Krist's reddit response?
"Finally, one of the reasons I am convinced Kurt killed himself is that he purchased a .20 shotgun. Kurt was not interested in hunting birds or squirrels, he bought that firearm as a suicide device. Suicide is not rational."
Seriously Krist? Kurt had lots of guns, the police confiscated them in a bogus claim by Courtney saying Kurt was locked in his closet with his guns and was suicidal, which she admitted was a false claim but they still took his gun. Google Kurt Cobain and gun, lots of pictures of Kurt with guns, pretty sure they were for home protection and not hunting .....Krist should know that. Even Dillion said Kurt was worried about intruders and it was for home protection. Kurt got roofied and almost died, of course he is going to protect himself.
Kurt broke up Nirvana, lowered their cuts of the profits, and said he preferred jamming with Hole rather than his own band. If I were Krist my feeling would be hurt to hear that and I would be kinda pissed at Kurt, especially after he got back on drugs after getting sober. He may have burned his bridges with Kurt right before he died and I know Krist loved Kurt so that would be absolutely traumatic for him. I can see why he won't research Kurt's death, could you imagine the trauma of believing your best friend killed himself for decades only to learn he was murdered and he wasn't there for him when he needed him the most? He probably wants to stay in the reality where Kurt was an asshole bent on suicide and there was nothing anyone could have done to help.......but there was.
Kurt needed a real friend, if Kurt didn't open up to Krist about the cheating and divorce then that tells me all I need to know......Kurt didn't trust Krist enough to confide in. If Krist does know those details and just keeping quiet that tells me a lot also.
I want to talk to Krist, I want to explain about the cheating and divorce and I want to know his honest feelings on Kurt breaking up the band and lowering his cut. Krist might not know about the cheating or divorce, imagine what he would think to learn of why Kurt was so messed up near the end? It would make a lot more sense to him and maybe he can help get Kurt justice. I would love to see the day Krist and Francess get into the evidence of murder and sincerely try to get Justice for Kurt because they would make a huge difference.

      @DanksSativa 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@cross hatch2 Thanks I never seen that Iggy video. I completely agree and there are many x factors that get really dangerous for Kurt. First of all his goal was to sabotage and destroy the mainstream music industry from the inside, he wrote about his goals in his journals and also said pages and whole journals would go missing in hospitals, hotels, planes, and someone may have been gathering Intel on his personal thoughts and aware of his plans, he would make a lot of enemies. I don't think he was on Krist or Dave's good side at all, Kurt said they were very passive aggressive but sounds like things got really ugly near the end. He dropped the lollapalooza tour which would have cost a lot of people millions of potential profit, I would imagine he was under contract as well. Kurt was done with Nirvana and I would assume major labels as well, if he went solo the party would have been over for a lot of people. Then there is Courtney's Epstein connection and Courtney's fortune she can inherited from her Bohemian Grove member grandpa. I suspect Billy Corgan was who Courtney cheated on Kurt with, but what if it was actually related to her Epstein connection and sex trafficking? That could be veeeeeey dangerous if Kurt found out.
Kurt was worth more dead than alive to everyone in his life, sadly even Krist and Dave. Actually, who did Courtney sell some Nirvana right to again? I'm gonna look that up, that is weird how there is a person or group out there still profiting off of Kurt that is not related to his family, I wonder if there are any connections with the record companies Kurt worked for?
Edit: Mestel owns 25% of Kurt's share of Nirvana, a company that buys up rights to music, and the owner was the executive producer of Montage of Heck. Just wild speculation, but if someone in the industry wanted to profit off of Kurt after he died it would be through something like Mestel so there might be a lead there, it's always good to follow the money trail.

    • @DanksSativa
      @DanksSativa 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@cross hatch2 They seem sooooo awkward and lost without Kurt. Dave went from shy and introverted, to an extroverted drunken party animal. Dave comes off very insincere to me in every interview, like he only says what people expect to hear.
It is interesting to think Dave already had most of the foo fighters songs written by that point. Kurt talked about them going in other musical directions, Kurt asked Dave if he could change the lyrics of his songs for Nirvana songs, I can only assume Dave declined. Courtney said in that recent post that Dave doesn't deserve any money since he was kicked out of the band, first I ever heard of that but it would make sense. Kurt called Dave's riff for scentless apprentice boneheaded at first and I read a story where Dave got offended that Kurt was kinda making fun of him on a plane, and Dave said he was always worried about getting replaced since Nirvana went through so many drummers.
There were rumors Kurt lowered the rest of the bands split since he was the only one contributing to songwriting, I think that would be in response to Dave not allowing Kurt to use his future foo fighters songs as Nirvana songs, the logic makes sense.
It's possible Dave got kicked out if the band but it wasn't official, then after Kurt died he was technically still in the band and got song rights, he took Kurt's place in the spotlight, came out of his she'll, and became the rockstar he probably felt Kurt should have been, soaking in the fame and loving the attention. Dave profited and benefited off of Kurt's death so much so that it should be impossible not to feel some level of guilt. I don't think Foo Fighters would have been nearly as successful had Kurt lived, Dave would always have been in Kurt's shadow. Now he is promoting vaccines and played dictator Biden's inauguration..........oh my how Dave has fallen from his punk rock roots and joined the system that Kurt was trying to destroy.
