Actual situation in the USA..... even a society can be narcissistic...or at least become narcissistic because it needs just one "cult leader" and the damage begins.. so sad.!

But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God- 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.

If Jesus came back, today, the churches would hear the same thing the Pharisees heard 2000 years ago.
White washed walls, vipers, hypocrites, cups washed only on the outside, people using power to oppress those from whom they use legal technicalities to demand support, swallowing camels and straining gnats, and those speaking in Jesus’s name but bound for destruction (Matthew 23-25 especially), all these passages describe what we now call narcissists.
