I've taken my daughter, wife and two nephews to the zoo, but never explored the rest of the park, so it is cool to see the park in your video. It has the wonderful "Old Spanish Mission" vibe to it, with so many buildings repurposed as museums so all, young and old, can enjoy them. I am still addicted to the Smithsonian Museums in the DC mall, which are so huge, but free to all who enter. I used to have an office near there where I'd be sequestered for eight weeks of the year, so I went there on weekends. Since I live in Phoenix, San Diego was always my favorite place to go to, I would place my wife and daughter at the beautiful Doubletree Hotel in Mission Valley and use it as a base to enjoy San Diego and also Legoland and Disneyland, saving those two places after Sea World and San Diego Zoo to surprise my daughter though my wife was always in on those plans. Those who get to live in San Diego, like San Francisco, since I was raised in the Bay Area, have a blessed life and great year round weather.
It definitely has a different vibe once you are in the center of the park. With the church bells and building designs, you wouldn't think that you are in SD. Thank you for watching and subscribing!
