This is the best build I ever had. Just amazing. There were many awe inspiring builds in TH-cam but never been able to copy those due to high cost or items were not available. This build is not only cheap and copyable but also super strong. I have never been able to do map tier 10 ever. Today I just finished map tier 15 OMG. I just want to thank you and please keep this build alive and thrive for next many leagues. Edit: I did T 16 without sweat with this build. I miss this build. Can you make this for 3.12 or I have to wait for another year to have time to play again.

Gotta say I love this build even more than the newer version you have posted, runthis in the cyclone variant with blade blast at 900k+ alongside everything else ticking in the background this litreally decimates screens full whilst mapping t16 are just a joke using this setup :)
Just made this in 3.12 swapped out anger for Skitterbots, added cwdt + IC and OMG it is just stupidly fun to melt screens and your heath never moves, looking forward to your 3.12 showcase of this (the cwc cylone version btw)
I had a max block facebreaker/reckoning build in legion, this was the first time I was like yay porcupines and yay tentacle miscreations (the guys in lunaris that use barrage)
Of the 3 CWDT chieftain builds @Trollergosum has made vids for I really do find this one to be the best especially if you go with the cyclone version to be more active (who doesn't love a spinny-boi)
You should probably slot BV somewhere. It'll boost your Blade Blast AoE by a lot. The lingering hits around you should also help with clear speed a since you won't have to wait for mobs to hit you every pack.

Is this starter friendly? I am trying to get a build that just sweeps to end game without stopping my progression and I seem to always use builds that stop me around act 5 and going onward.
This specific build: not at all. The sword and amulet are essential to the build and both only drop from the Phoenix which is late-endgame. This wouldn't be hard to put together at all as a 2nd or 3rd character though.
Any ideas on how to deal with single target bosses with no ads? I swap out whirling blades for vaal cyclone at the moment but it only helps a little. Maybe blade flury? Need fast att to proc ignites to proc the loops. Im up to t13 maps with the setup so far. Suprisingly tanky.
@@TrollErgoSum Tried maxed out blade flurry and it sucks. I don't have the mana reservation shield yet so my next plan is to swap the cwdt in my chest with blood magic and spam cremation and vd and blade blast. Should work in theory although it beats the afk aspect of the build.
Self casting cremation and vd also sucks. Next test is with vaal bv and a vaal breach. If the breach stays open long enough bosses wont stand a chance.

@@jamesmulberry4873 The build as is would be a rough league start due to the fact the required uniques are locked behind endgame content. But, you could feasibly start as a self cast blade blast and then it would be an easy transition once the uniques hit the market.
@@TrollErgoSum do you think its possible to get a pob of what the min i need in the sense of what i need on passives / gear inorder to start mapping with this build? i can see what i can work towards i just have a hard time knowing when i can start the build :( i just dont know what passives are super important to rush for inorder to start the setup
@@TrollErgoSum Thank you. I tried this out on a VD/DD spellslinger since it's close to the same tree and the chestpiece sockets are similar. Wow, it took FOREVER to do single target with elemental resists this way. Thanks for pointing out the build though.
@@tomownsit you can slap in a Malachai's Artifice with herald of purity, and get a jewel with cold or lightning damage to minions. also self cast flammability on the boss
The current POB isn't loading it fully for me, i cannot see the ascendancy path you chose & I was wondering if you could just send me snapshots of the tree for me please?
A) Make sure you are either using the Razor of the Seventh Sun or Ngamahu's Sign Ring(s), at least one is needed to offset the self damage from the amulet. B) Make sure you have the Tasalio ascendancy so you are unaffected by Ignite. C) Have some sort of bleed removal or immunity. This build can deliver a lot of hits and an enemy with Corrupting Blood can get you up to 20 stacks very quickly. Those are the first things that come to mind. Feel free to link you profile or PoB and maybe we can figure out what's going wrong.
Doesn't appear that anything essential to the build was touched so this should be good to go as-is for 3.12. May even get to have some more fun with alt quality gems and possible replica uniques.

I haven't found a magic trick for true single target bosses yet, they're doable, they just take a while, lol.

No nerfs, might be some interesting alt quality gems to squeeze in but this should be good to go as is for 3.12.

Generic Tectonic Slam, mostly because I wanted to try out the new slam stuff. This could probably be leveled easier with self cast Blade Blast though.
