I bought the TMP back in December, and it needed work back then. But since the last update it has really turned into a great modeler. I really love the Orange and Soldano amps in the TMP and the Fender Blonde amp is fantastic for cleans. Enjoy your TMP.
Just looked it up online, it's out of my price range but it does look cool.
Yeah out of mine too really. I had some credit at the store and traded the Deluxe Reverb Tone Master in - and they gave me a crazy deal, so I went for it.
@@QuestForGear I probably would've done the same.
Fender really made this thing look great! As long as they keep updating the software this is a keeper!
So far for me - the AMPS sound great... the UI is great..... it's just more than I need.
Did you pick that expression pedal over the Mission Engineering one due their availability problem? I know they are on backorder at Sweetwater.
I got the tmp today i like it so far I have only used it with headphones I know I have to learn to dial it in for the od and distortion tones
I like it... my main beef is the price. In Canada it's around $2650 tax included.... it's too much money sitting in one spot for my comfort level. I'll buy one again when I can snag one for ~$1500. Cheers!
Did the same thing as you.. traded my blonde tm deluxe reverb and boss gx100 for tonemaster pro
I've gone back and forth... I currently own none of it. I still think TMP is too much money. There is a small rumor that Fender may release a 'baby' TMP.
@QuestForGear i have heard the same kinda like in a mustang gtx kinda way
Oh cool... glad I'm not the only one heard that rumor.
@@QuestForGear yea i just wasnt happy with the boss gx100 used it more as a pedal platform but the internal global eq was a issue for me with the unit.... i am pretty happy and inspired to play more with thr tonemaster pro... i am playing with a set of studio headphones right now.. im happy and my wife is happy haha.. but i think the marshall amps are spot on... i created and shared my own presets of randy rhoads blizzard of ozz tone and george lynchs dokken tone from under lock and key albumn and the super lead amp i can dime all knobs and get that clapton tone .... they need to get some of the amps that were on the mustang series like fender supersonic and hiwatt amps and if they can do the 57 deluxe and a brown deluxe i will be set... the brown deluxe is all day zztop heaven
Nice NGD😎🤙
I saw the IK Multimedia TONEX pedal on sale for ~270.00USD
In other gear news, I picked up a used Peavey Classic 50-watt 4x10" tube combo for ~300USD.
I'm interested to see what tones you can get out of this. The gear mafia youtubers seemed to dislike this pedal compared to the Helix and all the other Chinese knock offs.
"Peavey Classic 50-watt" - I'm going to look this up - a friend of mine has one... I bet they're great. Around here we are kind of Peavey snobs - as they always seem to be the pawn shop amp - SO MANY of them... so there is a bad stigma about them here. I'll check it out though. And yeah - people have strong opinions on the modelers. I still really like the Line 6 Pod Go - or whatever it's called, I think it sounded great and would have been my cheaper option, but - I got sucked in to the hype here. I figure if Fender supports this for 5 years (and that is an IF ) - then I'll get a stellar assortments of amp and effects to play with.
So when are you going to switch back to an amp? Lol. Sorry, it was a cheap shot.
LOL !!! I miss it already. You joke - but - it's super possible.
@@QuestForGear I've learn to live with my mistakes for a while and then get rid of them.
New subscriber... I have the TMP and play at church through FOH with silent stage and I am very happy with the unit. There is nothing wrong with having a TMP and an amp! ;-)
True enough! I'm not loving the TMP entirely - so I ordered a Super Reverb Amp... will review soon. Thanks for the sub!
