Why does bear seem so uneducated. Season 10 was on in 09. There was plenty of social media. Maybe not to the extent of today but he makes it sound like it was 1980. He really seems like he doesn’t know what he’s talking about half the time. I like the podcast but just because of rampage

Cowboy Cerrone or Evans would be good for an episode
From a fighter's viewpoint, Fedor had incredible speed, but also great balance and a wide barrel upper body that was hard to grab and take down. He was great at spinning and using momentum to throw you and will most likely land on top of you if you try to take him down. A lot of fighters also don't have his killer instinct for ground and pound. Most fighters will get on top of you and take a while trying to find a position or a submission while missing plenty of opportunity to do damage. Fighters are better now from the guard, but Fedor always stayed semi-upright where it was hard to pull him down and close. I mentioned speed, but I will mention it again... his speed at heavyweight would have made Tom Aspinall seem slow.
He also had amazing cardio
He just combined it better than most during that time, he was pretty above average in all 3 facets and was tough as hell. Great combinations

I wanna like Roy Nelson on a personal level but I just can't. Loved watching him fight but everytime he talks he is so full of himself and half the shit he says is either a lie or over exaggerated
Roy Nelson is one of my all time favorite fighters. Guy has King Kong balls and a granite chin, a lot like Rampage in that sense.
And knockout power 👊🏾 I enjoyed how he kept winning despite not being pushed by the company. Dana kept harping on his image. I think they could've capitalized on his image because he looks like the common big guy at a bar.

Chris is a judge now he's judged some ufc fights, I forget the fight but he gave a decision to a fighter a few months back that 99% of people feel lost the fight and the person who should have won lost the fight. Safe to say those judges are on a pay role

I felt the same way at first with bear being there. But watching a lot of these podcast , he does keep the flow going on asking the right questions, and rampage is there to get the fighters to open up on a relate type of level. When you think of it it’s really genius how it all flows together.

Bear, you need to let topics play out before changing the subject. So many times a golden topic comes up, and you ask a follow up question that changes the topic. It's frustrating to listen to. Examples 50:50, 53:30, 58:10, 1:00:04.

51:07 Why this remains a question in 2024 I will never understand! Fedor was special because he was extremely well rounded and more than that, calm and collected at all points in the fight. Standup, clinch, ground? Ok, guess we will do this....then add to all of that his physicality, extremely fast and explosive, but his timing was insane which made his explosions insane. He was the total package for quite some time but like everything else, time waits for no man!
