My phone updated last name to iOS 15 and since then my home button stopped working. Could not close any app that I would open from a locked screen, switch through apps. Nothing. Thank you for this fix I can finally use my phone again. My question is why has the update version disabled the home physical button on these earlier phones?

Apple has already got caught and sued cause a insider leaked that the update they put out will make older iPhones slower so that way you will buy a newer one. Other companies have done the same thing too. So could probably be the same thing.
