earliest football memory is the 2010 WC opening game, like world cup fever had totally taken over the country to the point that walking and hearing a vuvuzela in the street was normal😂😂😂
All I remember of that World Cup is the dance from the South Africans, the UK being the same temperature as Africa and iniesta bagging the winner, was a great World Cup though 😅 wave your flag was played everywhere😂😂
My earliest memory of football was Blackburn Rovers winning the league at Anfield despite Liverpool winning. My little tiny brain couldn't fathom how Blackburn were celebrating when Liverpool won
My earliest moment had to be watching my local mls team at about 6-7 years old, on the tv, watching them win the mls cup for the first time in the clubs history, I remember the winning penalty like it just happened an hour ago
I'm 23 and from the USA so i didnt get into soccer until 2014 and my first major memory is watching Tim Howard set the record for most saves in a WC match against Belgium, it truly was a great moment that really got me into the sport heavily
@@Ryan-md6lc dawg I’ve been into it for almost a decade now, I’ve called the NFL football my entire life I’m gonna keep calling it soccer, being toxic for no reason
My earliest memory of football was when my brother and father wanted me to like the team my father used to play for. They took me to a game and we lost 7-2
earliest footy memory is an exhibition match between Aberdeen and Man U in 2008 as like a testimonial for Sir Alex. Seeing players like Rooney, Scholes and Giggs playing against my local team got me into football
I’m a United fan and my earliest memory of football was pogback in I think 2016 If I’m not mistaken but I’m only 12 so hopefully many more football memories to come
Earliest football memory is seeing the Eurocup final when I was 8 years old. Van Basten scoring the 2-0 and my dad celebrating it with the friends we where watching it with. And yes I am old.
My earliest football memory is the champions league final, 2005 Istanbul. So basically my first ever football match that I've watched was one of the best games ever played. I was almost 7 then.
Earliest football memory was when I went to Newcastle vs Man City in 2004. Must’ve only been 5/6. Sat in the family area (level 7). Scared, freezing, went for a maccies at half time 😂
Earliest football memory for me, is being in the stadium of my local team Viking FK when we knocked out Chelsea out of the europa cup, lost the first leg 2-1 in london, beat them 4-2 at home, second leg, 3rd of October 2002, i was 7 at the time and went to the match with my dad, great memories
When FC Steaua used to compete with bloody Real Madrid in the UCL, destroying Dinamo Kyiv 4-1 in the UCL, I remember I cried of happiness, Nicoale Dica was so good.
Earliest football memory was the 2002 world cup (I was 6yo) only because my uncle bought me the video game and that's how I fell in love with this beautiful sport.
I was a little late to football becuase I'm American, so even though I played growing up, I didn't watch very much. The most vivid memory for me is watching the US World Cup run in 2014. Tim Howard's record performance against Belgium in the round of 16 is how I came to support Everton
My earliest football memories are the 2003 UCL final, Juventus v AC Milan penalty shootout… then Arsenal vs Man Utd in 2003 and also 2004 Euros final where Greece won it
WC final 98 for me is very memorable. I was 11 and remember the surprise of the french win and Zidane. Also all the invisibles era, hence being an arsenal fan!
I remember going to see my local team TPS play against Fc Honka (I think, it might have been KuPS as well) in 2007 when I was 4. I only remember being there and pretty much nothing else
Andy's last attack there, where Zirkzee pulled out to the wing - I don't play the game much these days but that used to piss me off so much. You're my 6'5 target man. Stay in the bloody box
sitting on the sofa with me dad watching fulham go 1-0 up in europa league 2010 the season we got to the final, i wouldve been 6, we needed the away goal and bobby zamora scored it within 2 minutes, went mental
Dear Andy, I propose a solution for the successful guess of the formation. Since all formations are good, it's not useful to guess the formation and change it. An alternate u proposed is, extra trump card. But that presupposes two successful guesses. My proposed solution is, if someone guesses opponents formation, he can disallow the opponent from picking chemistry breakers. That is a fair payoff for guessing something as difficult as the formation
Earliest football memory is an extremely niche one for me. Injury time, 1-0 down vs Port Vale. Our 3 subs combine, as the ball is played to Adelakun on the right. Cuts back, crosses perfectly to the far post and Kyle Wootton scores a diving header
Future stars icons are basically baby icons with better stats since they have that body type. WW Gullit can be considered future stars. Love the content. I found a player called Scheperman sounds like superman for trump cards
Euro final 2000, cant really say i remember the match minute per minute. But i remember the late equaliser for france and Trezeguet golden goal from watching it.
I wasn't really into football until about age 9, but my first footballing memory was slightly before that when Sneijder scored with his head against Brazil in the 2010 World Cup. My second was us losing the World Cup finale for the 3rd time. Then my next one was Drogba scoring in the Champions League finale two years later😂
First Game in the Stadium at my local Team Sturm Graz. Because of massive traffick we were late and got to the stands in the 15th minute. First goal was around the 22nd minute and we won the game 6-0 😂
My earliest football memory is probably Sweden v Portugal when Ibra scored two and Ronaldo 3, sat up the latest i had ever been up to watch Ronaldo spank us😭
How about after the CBs an GK section you make a subs section consisting of 1 defender, 1 mid and 1 forward for if there is an injury, and for each guess right the player is removed and you get a guess at the end at the opponent’s team
Talking about watching games at school, we could stay at school to watch the England Germany game with the lampard goal in the hall after school, in high school we were allowed to stop after school during the 2016 euros to watch the games, at college during the 2020 euros our tutor just had every game on in the background then at college during the recent wc I just watched it on my phone and didn’t pay attention to class at all. I don’t actually know my earliest football memory, I have loads of memories from 2012, my first time in a stadium was march to watch villa lose (I’ve seen that a fair few times…), I remember watching both legs of Barca vs Chelsea, the 2nd leg was at a pub and we went home just after messi missed his pen and a guy outside said “did the best player in the world actually miss a penalty”, and I went to a load of England home games and other villa games
Earliest footy memory was probably coventry vs Southampton in 2011 me being a coventry fan we got battered 6-2 I think it was Southampton scored 10 goals past us that season😢
