A waitress kindly offered to take a woman's coat upon seeing her walk into the restaurant. Although she initially accepted, the customer abruptly stopped when she took a good look at the girl's face, exposing the prejudice she had against her skin color. Uncomfortable, the waitress asked another colleague to take over. That's when her boyfriend showed up and expressed his desire to introduce his mother, who turned out to be the rude customer. However, while getting acquainted with the waitress, the woman acted as if nothing had happened, dismissing any prior accusations.
When her boyfriend announced his intention to propose, his mother became more assertive, yet she managed to hide her displeasure and said that she would stay an extra day to witness the engagement. But, behind her smile, her eyes revealed a plan to thwart her son's proposal. Things started heating up, especially since the girl's parents showed up to the event. Was the rude woman able to put an end to the the young couple's love?

Please parents, we know you want the best for your son or daughter, but don't get involved in their relationships, is their business. Is their choice to select who they want to marry or to be the rest of their life.

There's nothing wrong with advising if the choice isn't right... not everyone sees through their partner's intents, and so many separate after ~8 years. But don't go overboard with the advising.
Very sensible advice you share here, @Yody0cean, and at the same time, one of the most difficult for parents to follow. It is part of the human condition to want to protect one's children forever, but at the same time one must accept that they must live their own lives according to their own choices👍👍❤❤

I have met Chris' Mother (the character) in real life! Excellent writing and acting! This episode was so good and mirrors real life. The moral of the story, let the kids work it out. This was the perfect LoveBuster ending. Bravo (to the young couple)!

My first fiance and I met when he worked at Hardee's one summer. We both were on summer break, college and high school. We hit it off and he knew my family for awhile before I met his. They were nice and I immediately knew that they were well-to-do. They liked me until one night he had car trouble and called them. They saw that I lived in the projects and things changed. They tried everything to break us up introducing him to other women, sending him to tour overseas for six months, told lies but we were in love. It seemed like they were over it and we got engaged my senior year. I decided that I'd move and finish school in Florida. He got accepted to Mississippi State. He drove me to Florida and went back home to Mississippi until he moved two weeks later when his apartment was ready. He went to get his keys and move some of his stuff in. He had borrowed his brother-in-law's truck to move and he was killed in a car accident on his way to take the truck back and get his car. His family blamed me

What a stunningly beautiful black and white young couple, imagine their babies be more beautiful. And their mothers will have arguments forever. Loved both mothers attire's one with black dress and pearls very classic, the other mother with red blouse and cartier rings on each finger with attitude was fabulous.

The actress playing Chris is stunning beautiful.
Racism isn't just a product of hell - it actually IS hell. The guy's mother wasn't particularly old, but even the actress playing the part seemed to be carrying the burden of evil.
I look it to the final, but at the beginning this young woman is pretty unpolite too. I have been work, where I am server. I can not imagine to use such voice and bragging towards clients like she did.... I want to stay all the time polite and calm, I represent my job.. and later "I am like a setver to you?" She is your motherinlaw, just made it coffee maybe? Or say it a little bit more decently. She is pretty bossy too, you see.
