May 12, 2024 - Burning of the Church's Mortgage

Thanks to God's benevolence and the church's prudent financial stewardship, Oakley Community Church was able to fully pay off the church's $180,000 mortgage that was originated in 2008 following a major church renovation and construction of a fellowship hall.
The mortgage was paid off on May 6, 2024 more than one year early after being refinanced multiple times. This symbolic mortgage burning ceremony took place on Mother's Day and Dr. Reverend John Miller's final Sunday in service as the Senior Pastor of Oakley Community Church.
The church was founded around 1888.
