  • We will go over all the new locations of features, all the new features of XCS. My goal is for you to feel comfortable with using the XCS software with your new laser. We will have time to answer any questions at the end of the walk thru.
If you feel you got any thing out of this video it would be much appreciated if you could donate to let me keep making these video's.

Good introduction to this new software. I have been using it since it came out, but I have had to stumble through it. You have shown me many things I haven't discovered yet. Thanks. I'm looking forward to you going into more detail with practical exercises and projects in future videos.
    Keep up the great work.
    Thks

This video was incredible! I would love to see you go more in depth with some of the features you went over. I am entirely brand new to laser engraving and design. Kind of going all in trial by fire. This video has been the best high level tutorial I have been able to find and would love to see you post shorter videos showing different features that you find as essential foundation kind of knowledge/skills to know for a beginner such as myself.
    Thanks for sharing!

Leading is pronounced LEDING, it refers to the strips of lead that typesetters used to put between the letters and words in the days of metal typesetting. Good info you gave.

Thanks for doing this! I have not downloaded 2.0 yet! I just hated to since I've finally become confident in using XCS and have been using it a lot more. After watching this, I feel like I could do so much more without having to go to my other software for help with certain things. :) I absolutely love that you can have so many canvases open at the same time! Im wondering though, is it possible to copy and paste from one canvas to another?

It’s awful software for what you pay for a unit. It reminds me of Microsoft paint.

That is your opinion. Yes it does need more work to do raw out of the box drawings. But to edit and minuplute a file it does a fine job.
