A "Black Goliath" spider is a real thing. I think they meant the Goliath Birdeater, the largest known tarantula. But, I can assure you, they are not 30 pounds in weight (more like five or six ounces) do not lay MULTIPLE eggs (just one eggsac), cannot break glass, lift heavy lids, or move boxes, and they do not jump.
P.s. I know it's all fake but I LOVE tarantula facts. :)
