too many setbacks. Running backs dont get drafted after a broken leg and wide receivers dont get drafted after a broken hand or wrist. Myles Healed fine and I believe would have made the draft.
He would have muuuch further down the list but I think he would have made it to that point. To have done that would have been another 2-3 years, if not longer, kinda' like a Steve Young behind a Joe Montana. On that note I believe Steve Young was the much better qb.
      On Myles?
I do wish that Brian Kelly would have been more "up front" instead of doing the polished word game with Myles. Myles had done enough bleeding for the team over the years. Myles was owed a better honest outlook from BK on where BK was taking the team. BK knew from the outset that LSU ain't even gonna make 500 this year if the qb don't run.
...Thus Daniels. If Daniels gets seriously injured this season it will be the same thing. That is not Myles quitting. That is Myles seeing the paint on the wall for what it is. The time for Myles was through the Burrow era. a broken arm for a qb may be healed but few if any NFL teams are going to make the investment on his draft.
RG3 has learned this and Joe Theisman never got the same contract again. All these are great players and I am wishing no ill-will to Daniels. But one injury, just one injury with running that football past the pocket and not only is his career relegated to a clipboard for 3-4 years but LSU can hit that little chrome handle on the toilet when it happens. Daniels can not keep doing what he is doing. He does not have the frame or body type of a Tebow to endure those kinds of hits.
Myles was already broken. LSU is already on a Prayer and a shoe-lace to go 500 or better this season.
Best of luck to you Myles.
Yes, you did earn it. Heal well bro.

Myles Brennan has many Mississippi high school football records , i didnt fact check but some of those records outdid Brett Farves' Mississippi high school stats and or records. He looked a hell of a lot like a brand new "JOHNNY FOOTBALL" (Not comparing him to texas a&m's Johnny football) . Im just saying in those 3 starts he had as an LSU Tiger he had over 300 per game, which is another record he can add to the many... I was REALLY rootin' for ya Myles. It takes a big man to go through what Myles did. He didn't have a lot of playing time but a true leader and team player FOR SURE,... MUCH APPRECIATED!!! True Tiger fans will miss you and remember you, good luck in your journey, wish u well. Thanks for being true... "100"

When the "dual threat" qb gets racked up hard by linebackers and safeties at Alabama, Georgia, and A & M we shall see how much the ball gets thrown away rather than ran up field!!
Another Jordan Jefferson over Lee situation!!

A flat footed QB with bad pocket awareness gets racked by them too even more so. In fact the QBs that have beaten them the most have been true dual threats like Burrow and Watson. Yes, Burrow was considered a dual threat coming out of highschool.

I'm guessing he left so he could actually play. Who knows, you don't. I'm a huge LSU fan since 1958 when I was 3 years old. The new coach is a jinx. I've said this since he was hired. He's a rotten guy and a disease. LSU will suffer until he is gone. If you haven't seen this you will.

As big of a Brennan fan as I am, you cant stop supporting LSU just because he didn't win the job. He knew what he was in for when he decided to stay, I would 100% start him but I wasn't there to see the QB battle in person. I trust Kelly knows what he's doing, Nuss and Daniel's must've both improved a great deal and if that's true I'm all good with starting them.

@@77bronc14 It's going to be hilarious when he makes you look foolish. This isn't Wing T Football anymore bud. JD5 was one rank away from a 5 Star Dual Threat QB. He is the best option if not Nuss. Brennan was always #3 and a deer in the headlights on the field. Also, you were fine with all of the Ed O off field issues and back-to-back .500 seasons though? No thanks!
