If it wasn't for Billy's father, he wouldove been I think one of the most loved characters because he made him the way he is. Billy wouldove probably cared a LOT for Max like we see in his eyes some times. He didn't deserve to die there because at the end we could see regret in him and change.

I feel so much sympathy for Billy. The reason that he wasn’t a good person was because of his dad, and in the end he realized he was wrong, and sacrificed himself for eleven😢
It's absolutely heartbreaking for a kid's worst fear to be their parent. The one person in the world that's supposed to be your shelter and protection, being instead what causes your nightmares is just so tragic

I don’t really think Mind Flayer will come back in Season 5,since it made his debut in Season 3,he kills Billy,so that was enough for the Mind Flayer,Billy was his prey,whilst billy sacrificing himself.So now,forget about Season 3,and focus on the Season 5.Vecna makes a debut in Season 4,1-2-3?he is a ghost.But there are theories,he never died from fire,since Vecna gouges out eyes,snaps/brake people’s bones,that means he’s strong and makes people dream,powerful that is,and cracks their bones,so he’s basically strong as hell.But fire I don’t think he can die by that,cuz Vecna and fire r same colour.Season 5 is where I think William(nickname is will)kills Vecna for revenge off Max Mayfield.

Reason for all of them:
Eleven: Because papa controlled her.
Billy: His dad was abusive to his mother, and is a bad person.
Max: Because after seeing billy die, she was traumatized from it and is now cursed from vecna whom is trying to kill her using the trauma she has.
Joyce: It is pretty ovious why a mother would be scared of losing someone she loves. Not just them, but also her lover.
Will: Both season 1 and 2 the mind flayer took control of will, also “flaying” his mind.
Just for the people who don’t know or remember.
Edit: In season 3 will can also still feel him and will also said that it feels scary.

For those that are confused:
Eleven is scared of papa/Martin Brenner because she was used for experimenting and she would be put in a dark room I forgot why but yeah she ended up escaping but people are looking for her in season 1 and 4 pretty much
Billy is scared of his dad because he would take bad care of him like he would hit his mom right in front of him even when he was little if he didn’t like stuff that his dad made him try like baseball he would get mad at him and would start calling him stuff so his dad was a bad influence so he started to bully/hit kids when he was like 7 I think and would call them bad stuff like his father would call him
Max which is Billy’s younger step sister is afraid of death she is in high school and would get possessed by a creature named Venca two times she was lucky on the first one but her bones broke and she got blinded she is still alive but in a coma
Joyce I totally get like I would never want to lose my sons if I ever had them she is a very good mom
