Bailey is the alpha dog, he has every right to think he has the right to be there instead of them, the fact he doesn't demand it is a testament to his owners, beautiful dog
Good ol' Bailey here is too much of a Gentleman to just unceremoniously evict these unwelcome, unexpected, albeit cute, visitors. Real class, Bailey boy! 🐶❤️🧔
It’s a cute interpretation- imputing “gentlemanliness” to Bailey, but it’s obvious that there is a real power struggle going on, with Bailey appealing to “mom” as reigning authority. At first he’s forlorn and intimidated (he instinctually knows brute force will get him nowhere). With the neck rubs and affirmation from “mom” his confidence builds to nudge them off (or at least make room) more assertively, even barking as his confidence peaks. I don’t claim to know animal psychology, but this seems to be fairly precisely what’s going on.
Goldens are such kind, loving and patient dogs ……but finally he thought ‘that’s enough, get off my sofa’. My 13 year old retriever had to be put to sleep exactly a week ago and this video made me smile for the first time in a week…..thank you Bailey and his ‘hoomans’
I have watch Bailey since he was a puppy until now. The reason why he such an amazing soul is because of you take good care of him. What a loving dog he become. Cheers

We had a Golden retriever called Louie, he was so sweet and kind, so loving. Unfortunatly hé died when hé was only 5 years old due to his epilepsy, still miss him. Golden Retriever are the best!
