I think his ‘industry nigga’ that wasn’t happy about who he got on the remix is AKA - he wasn’t happy about Casper being on the remix.
The succeeding lines validate this because AKA met the then 16 year old Nasty C before he blew up “he replied to the emails before I got on the frequency”. Nasty C goes on to state that his plans to make music with Casper predates the animosity between AKA and Casper.
Another clever bar I want to annotate is the S on my chest bar. This is a reference to Superman - a fictional superhero revered by comic book lovers all over the world for saving human beings from life threatening situations. Nasty does not save the young ladies he handpicks out the general section. J Cole asserts in the song No Role Modelz that we should not save ho’s because they do not want to be saved.
Save her means to date and financially support promiscuous women. Eminem also has a song where he proclaims to ‘rip all ho’s in a single bound’. Notice the play on the word ‘rip’ which is also an acronym of Rest In Peach. In the song Em also states that he can’t save ho’s probably as an indication that he doesn’t approve of their choice of life.
Nasty C is a very witty writer - most of his lines have double or even triple entendre - you have to pay close attention to pick it up.
He does not seem to be too aware of his ability though. Lil Wayne pauses, laughs or adds in an ad lib to show you he is aware of how deep what he just said is - I have yet to see that from Nasty C.
