@TheIS300Kid I've been looking at the ISR MBSE exhaust that's 3", if I was over in the states I would have took that offer! My torque drops to 250ftlbs at 6100 rpm so I think the muffler is choking it even though I have a 3" downpipe, also have you got your vvti map all the way up to 6000+ to keep the torque up?
@ Nice there you go it will sound nice with a good 3” muffler I liked mine. Yeah that’s what it seems like to me it’s choking up top, but how much power are you making? You should only have that problem if you are making 800+ on a 3” exhaust. Honestly I’m not sure about the last part, all I know is I like having to torque come in later so it’s less stress on the rods. For now atleast haha.
@TheIS300Kid Ah so my torque dips probably because of four things 1. Exhaust restriction going from a 3" downpipe to a 2.25" muffler 2. .63 AR T3 housing 3. VVTI is essentially at 0 degrees at 5000rpm+ on my setup which coincides with the torque drop-off 4. Conservative ignition timing throughout I was just trying to work out where the bottleneck is, making 340-350ftlbs at 10 psi at 4000rpm, but topping out at 328hp
Ohh ok yeah you are definitely choking it up top with the stock muffler in my opinion. I would say just upgrade to that 3” exhaust and your problems should go away. If not ask your tuner, but it really sounds like it’s choking up top like you said, makes sense too.
Yeah I know I bought it because there’s no point in building a piston/rod engine unless you are going for 1000whp+ with billet main caps. Both blocks are good for 1500, just figured id get this one since it’s a full brand new assembled long block
Sounds so good. I looking forward to getting this manifold how it’s going to sound with a greddy SP I currently have on.
Sounds nice I like it
Man I love your videos straight to the point keep up the good work and let her sing!!
Thank you bro means a lot 🙏🏼 took me almost 2 hours to edit this 4min video haha
What exhaust are you running? Sounds mean! I'm still on the stock muffler
Haha yup 3.5” open downpipe for now. I have a Greddy RS for sale that’s a little beat up if you are interested!

you don’t need a GTE block for 800hp. The GE can do those numbers no problem…in fact you don’t even need a GTE block for pass 1000hp.
