      Many of Our city schools ARE insane, I agree... but schools in more rural areas can be lovely. I went to school in the sea coast of New Hampshire, 1 hour from Boston, and graduated with 118 people in my class. My son is in HS in the oldest (and largest) HS in southern Arizona, and his class has over 800 students! They have so many students that the school actually removed all the lockers from hallways so there was more room for all the kids during change of classes. AM I FEELING CONFIDENT TO HAVE HIM RETURN TO SCHOOL NEXT YEAR WITH THAT MANY STUDENTS? HHHHHELLL NO! looks like he’s doing Senior year online.😕

    • @bex8937
      @bex8937 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My graduating class was 500, the school is usually between 2500 and 3000 depending on class size. It's nice because there's no limit of new people to meet and new friends to make, and there is usually a lot of funding and student-led extracurriculars, but the class sizes are always big and it can cause students to suffer academically

    • @AmyM-yg1ue
      @AmyM-yg1ue 4 ปีที่แล้ว +51

      Bike is pronounced bike because of the E. Without the E, it’s “bick”. Of all the words you could have picked...

    • @larksie
      @larksie 4 ปีที่แล้ว +28

      I'm firmly of the opinion that squirrel has two syllables and the E should be pronounced, buuutttt... are you pronouncing the E in 'ignored'? You can't rely on the English language to make sense like that ;)
      But rhyming squirrel with girl is an abomination.

    • @AmyM-yg1ue
      @AmyM-yg1ue 4 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      I can only partially agree, because you’ve all yet to present a word with e in the middle of it, and not at the end which I don’t think really counts. But at the same time, you’re right; you can’t rely on English to always make sense in much the same way that you can’t rely on Americans to make sense either. 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Tan speaking in american accent his voice goes one octave lower

    • @Strega_del_Corvo
      @Strega_del_Corvo 4 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      This is actually a thing! When Americans try to speak a British accent their voices go up, British people speaking in an American accent the octave goes down. A good example is anytime Daniel Radcliffe speaks in an American accent.

    • @joshsmith2178

      Doesn't mean he still isn't British. He now has dual citizenship. Even if he's now an American citizen and lives in Salt Lake City with his husband, he was born and raised in the UK so he'll still be pronouncing things differently have different culture etc

    • @Selfishkiss
      @Selfishkiss 4 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      He's still British. he earned his dual citizenship making a citizen on both countries, that makes him british-american and ofc he's still a British national by birth .

    • @kh5709
      @kh5709 4 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      saw worried peeps n I don't think some understand how citizenship work. earning a citizenship doesn't erase the original nationality/citizenship/life of said person (in this case 37 years) some decide to reject their original one, he did not. he's still British and not only by the papers 😉 he was born/raised in the culture, it never goes away. just means now the USA n UK got to share him. 😉
