The purple and brown wire is for the replay knocker. You can see the mounting holes where it used to be. I had the same. It was probably broken and someone before me just yeeted it. I also have the other cable with the molex connector. I don’t know, what it’s for, but I assume, it’s for the cash box!

The speaker hum is very common on Data East games . Many , many Potential solutions but not any that get rid of completely except replacing it with aftermarket sound board . The other fixes will knock it down but they don’t seem to really get rid of it . Nice game ! Always wanted a DE Star Wars !
