When I was young on the farm 60 years ago, we had a huge beauty like him. The most lovable polled herford, as gentle as a cat, anybody could walk up to him and hug his neck. We never picked on him, and gave him lots of love and respect. We still didn't turn your back completely to him. Now the buck sheep was different, because he was closer to my size. But that is another story!

My favorite thing to do is walk to the holding area and see the bulls just hanging out looking so chubby and lazy. They are so damn majestic and cute at the same time. The power they have is mind blowing though. Gorgeous animal! ❤

We have a bottle raised bull named qhiskey just like rufur so the other day he ame home from free ranging and was bitchy so I gave him his space bit when I turned my back he hit me from behind and shoved into and over our yamaha bruin atv I ended up 15 feet from where I was and he was snorting down on me so I got the heck up as fast as I could and ran hollering help loudlyso my wife could hear and bring prod but I fell before making it to safety good thing wife heard and came out or I would be the Hamburger no broken limbs just left leg and face bruised bad been 11 days today still sore as hell e careful seriously seriously
Rufus is a sweet boy. But, to be on the safe side, I recommend that you take him some treats each time you visit him. Then, we could all enjoy watching him eat them. 🥬🍉🍐🍎🌽🥕🥦
